Ofc it is possible, how can you say it is imposible? 1k games doesn't mean anything. You can have 5k games and you are still a scrub. It really depends on how you invest into those games. So make every game count. Making a jump from 4k to 5k won't happen in one week or month. Maybe in one year, it really depends on how well you can improve your game.

I also picked only visage during those games, just a tip. That's exactly my issue of 'grinding up' the mmr, what is the point of just playing specific hero and hope for the best that your carry/mid doesnt suck too hard. Solo mm is almost purely a gamble now from my experience (i will drop my review of the whole solo/team mm system before i went abroad again in that ranked mm thread), no wonder most of the 'good players' that i know they dont quite bother with solo mm atm (they almost always play in 3-5men stack before the rmm introduced anyway). Solo mm didnt bother me before rmm because it doesnt show a number etc and then now if i just go 'casual' solo queue the games are even harder over there... I mean ya, if people really aim to 'win the game' in solo mm, proactive support is probably the better choice (albeit still a gamble), or i dont think it was an coincidence that i faced a few times of brood+chen autolose games. And when i picked brood the team didnt know what is the meaning of 'go 4men pls'. And i am 80% sure that total game count is a (small) factor in the rmm, the people in my (solo mm) games are mostly 'pro noob' if you know what i meant.

It was the exact same thing before visible rating, you just see your stupid number now. They want their mmr to represent their average skill with every single hero in the game even those they never play and the roles they never play and the things they never do cause if mmr only represents their skill when they really try and play with heroes they actually can play what is it then worth wait.

If you're good you'll get to a good rating with random heroes no matter what. Same as before, except now you see your MMR

To me it's a mix between wanting to be labelled as the upper end of your skill set variance rather than the average and serious overestimation of how MLG you are.
