Tested this; it is just a 100% slow that is additive like you would expect. If it was multiplicitive then purging a 100 base MS unit would cause them to not move at 522 when under the effects of a 1000% bloodlust. You can also purge and then hex the 522 unit and they'll still run at 522 while under the effects of bloodlust (100 base ms * (1000-100) > 522).

If you want to play with my map. It should be intuitive, but you should be able to figure it out by looking at the custom units/abilities in the editor if it isn't.
You can slow Lycan with the hex+purge+other stuff combo because hex sets his base MS to 100. Then you use a multitude of slows to reduce his increased percentage from 1000 to less than 522 (ice wall, purge, etc etc). If it was really multiplicative then you wouldn't need the other stuff since hex sets the base ms to 100.

dota 1 engine has a lot of quirks like that, one of my personal favorite being the legendary refresher kunkka double boat into 7 seconds of invulnerablity

Hey guys I've seen slark getting a lot of play lately. What is he generally building ? Id like to run him but I dont really know what to build.

The best quirk has to be Kunkka permacleaving your team while said team is under Guardian Angel.

In pubs: mid and build Bottle, Treads, Shadowblade. He's a very good solo ganker with shadowblade. After that you usually need a bkb so that you can teamfight. In coordinated -cm mode games, you can't really solo gank, so people tend to build drums into bkb.

I don't think you can really ask "is Midas good on this hero?" It can be good on any hero, but it's extremely dependent on the situation of the game, more than any other item, imo. So yeah, it can definitely be good.
Anyway, I really think you want Slark mid in pubs. He's one of the best heroes with runes, can gank effeciently with early levels, etc. But if you're safelane and making a midas, you're probably going to be spending a lot of time in the jungle, so make sure you get something for mana regen, or a cm in your team.
e: you might also want to max dark pact in the safelane instead of pounce, because you're farming more than ganking.

LC is easy to deal with multiple stuns flying during teamfight or countergank. Or when I play her with blink 7mins

LC also just is not that good against teams that can push or force fights when she's either still farming her Blink Dagger or just got it. She's not like Magnus or Batrider where having just a naked Blink can be good enough to win teamfights. She needs to get Duel kills and more items beyond that to actually be strong, so heroes that start forcing down towers in that 7-10 minute mark when she wants to be picking off people solo are good against her because she doesn't do a whole lot in fights at that point and can't get pick-offs when their whole team is 5-manning. Pugna, Chen, Luna, etc. all do well against her if you can get the team together to push.

pick earth spirit, wait untill the whole enemy team picked and loaded. repick and play the hero you want to play.
