And venomancer should get an eelpack (or some other minisnakefaces) for those two antennas on his head, a breastplate and a backplate. Cant be that hard.

don't forget to get linkens and heart after that bfly too for more surbibability

going deso obviously synergizes well with his aura, makes him a potent tower killer (manta does a good job at this too) and if you're against an agility carry I think going for a BKB -> Deso and if no one else is going to get it in your team to an AC is really good against agility carries.
i don't like the idea of going butterfly immediately after a bkb mostly because of it's build up items and the time it takes to actually complete the item after getting a BKB first core. you get a bkb fast, you're going to want to utilize the item by team fighting immediately after it's completion to make the use of out the item. manta style on the otherhand has a good build up because of yasha and ulti orb. you already have enough decent survivability going bkb in the first place.

The problem with Deso is that is really hurts your lategame due to Lifesteal so if that powerspike doesn't net you a huge advantage it isn't really worth it I think. Its safer getting a helm after bkb and going into a bigger item like crit I feel.

The amount of people picking POTM is fucking retarded right now. I dont think I've palyed a single game today without this shit being picked

Manta style is overall a subpar choice at best of SF after BKB
A straight BKB SF on its way to transition from a hero based on magic output to a physical lategame carry needs attackspeed more than anything, which a manta gives rather inefficiently. The +10 stats is somewhat helpful but still inefficient compared to other items and the active is actually quite terrible on SF at that point in the game. A pair of paper illusions that deal 25 effective damage is by no means useful and since your BKB should still have a reasonably high duration the debuff effect of manta is also rather worthless at that point in the game.
The build path after BKB (unless you have something stupid like a midas already) should be towards some attack speed to capitalize on SF's aura and +64 damage. Yasha is usually the obvious choice, with lothars a reasonable alternative if there are no other heroes that rely on invisibility on the team. After that Bfly is the choice if you want a balance of offense and defense, Dadelus if you want pure damage, and Santanic if you want to focus on suriviving. Manta is a middling choice that doesn't actually make you a strong lategame hero for 5000 gold.

Manta's pretty bad on SF anyways, his illusions don't get any of the bonus damage that make him good in the mdigame.
Bfly is the superior survival/damage item,
Desolator SF is all about snowballing absurdly hard, but thats risky.

Yup people just need to get over that obsession on manta(it is almost purely a pushing up to high ground item after several nerfs, just think Luna be one of the few carries that highly benefit from it).
Deso/yasha/lothar is all about the timing of getting them. Pure damage = buriza and bfly is one of the mid/late game core for sf. And then satanic. Situationally useful skadi or ethereal or even an AB. MoM deserves a honourable mention ofc.

I think manta is overrated on a lot of heros and underrated on a lot of others
Like its just terrible on Mirana and people should stop going it

With a couple exceptional heroes that use the item really well, Manta does not really provide enough specific benefit for normal fighting situations to be worth it. The Illusions' primary use on many heroes at this point is for sieging high ground, and not so much for up-front combat.
