It gives you a rare or better item and another box at level 5 and higher. Getting a rare+ every 5 levels is not bad.

It is highly unfortunate that crafting untradables yields untradeables. And you can't get anything for deleting items anymore.

He's been run as a sideline farmer before, but there's not much draw in having him have levels THAT quickly, because while having Familiars sooner is nice, you generally don't get fights that demand maxed Soul Assumption that quickly, since the only part of Soul Assumption that scales is the max charges.
He also really likes runes a lot as mid but has a lot of trouble controlling them given his lack of pushing ability pre-6.

Can't remember having seen it recently. But I tried this occasionally in dota 1, and agreed, it was really fun. As with aa in mid, you practically gank sidelanes without having to leave your lane.
However he benefits very little from bottle/runes, has no real way to be a threat or push the lane before lvl 6, and his skillset should not be that good vs continued harass (soul assumption is unlikely to get fully charged; and even with cloak every hit he receives early on hurts a lot). Qop, viper (each orb should eat multiple claok layers?), alch and maybe some others look like very unfavorable matchups, not even mentioning od.

Its impossible for me to win on ranked solo queue. the annoying part with solo queue ranked is that aboslutely NO ONE wants to play support. and if you have a support you are probably going to have ONE, not TWO. Everyone wants to farm and they do stupid shit like ancient jungling with drow or jungling with LC. And then they complain that there are no wards or there is no crow...
gosh my solo queue mmr is 4570 and it was only gone down from 4760. My party mmr is higher 5670. because my friends actually knows how to play dota.

Try other modes than All pick, or start playing heroes that do something on their own. It's not just your teammates that behave that way.
