I think it only looks for a server when a server is available. It can take 5+mins on the Aus servers at night.
It does the same thing if you try to start a practice lobby on an Australian server.

So is it allowed to have multiple accounts on this site? There are forums that are very strict about duplicates and actually hunt for them and ban them. But apparently it's okay for staff to have fun with second accounts on TL.net?

Not really the appropriate place for this question, but in summary, it's generally not allowed. There are exceptional circumstances, such as in mafia where they often use smurfs to hide their identity. In this case we all know who it is (or do we?), he has no malicious intent, plus it will end when he eventually decides what to do with that 20k.

Yeah sorry, I don't really get out of the Dota 2 section much 
It's just been bugging me for a while considering how strict we were about multiples on GameReplays. There was a very strong sentiment that staff should be held to the same rules as normal members at every turn, even if it was something harmless. TL.net's a bit different in that regard - veteran members seem to have a bit more room to maneuver here. Every site has it's own norms and rules though which is perfectly understandable. Thanks for the answer.

I think diffusal should get buffed. It's rarely picked up and with good reason, I think. All the alternatives in the similar price range just seem better.

yeah its definitely not as private as they intended yet. you can also see anyones rating if they're in the same guild (like TL ingame guild) regardless if you're friends.

Diffusal's fine.
The thing about Diffusal is that it's only ever really ever balanced as a situational item. It's power varies heavily based on the heroes that it's used with, and more importantly, against. You can't really buff it to be commonly picked up without making a lot of heroes that are weak against the Purge a lot weaker.

Warlock's also not the only hero you really want Diffusal against.

Meh I can't think of many others. Omni I guess, but what others? Seems like a waste to get it just to remove track and amplify etc, although it's a nice bonus if you're getting it anyway (ie. you're riki or pl).

Coming back to doto after 4 months of being inactive...I feel like I don't even know how to play the game anymore. Especially with such major changes happening to the game while I was away. I really hope the "feel" comes back soon..

Angles seem pretty legit like this! Pure orthographic camera angles would be better but are too confusing. WR hackleshot ain't broke.
