sniper does fine vs OD. The problem is the hero doesn't turn that laning into anything.

to be fair, phase/sb sniper is pretty deadly to heroes with long castanimation like Lina and Es. Hes certainly less potent than sniper with max strafe, max arrows and lvl 2dark pact

The other thing that gets totally neglected is that with 2xOblivion Staff, Clinkz can farm jungle indefinitely.
Pretty much any ganker hero gets massive gains once they pass the point where they can sustain constant jungle farming. You essentially present a gank threat even if you are just farming, because you don't have to show yourself in a lane to farm, and the enemy can't distinguish the time when you're roaming looking for kills or just farming your own jungle, so they just pretty much always have to be scared.

Sniper is just....... non-existant at a competitive level.

Hey guys, I've been playing dota 2 for roughly a year now, had the same computer, same settings, nothing new installed in the past week, but just starting today I've been getting "Disconnected from server: No steam logon" or something like that. It happens every minute of the game. I get booted, but I can IMMEDIATELY reconnect and load the game. but every minute or so it will disconnect me again. Had a game just now and got kicked about 10 times before finally giving up. Never had this issue before. Anyone know of fixes?

no idea how to fix it, but you can start another game, the bug doesn't stay more than a game

There is a pocket strat(one CIS team did a while ago), sniper rushed rapier while 4 man protects sniper, idea was taking down towers and raxes in a very short amount of time.

I had this yesterday, except it kicked everyone off the game and the game ended. As if it never existed - no reconnect option, no abandon, no win or loss.

it was the redicolous global aura and better ultimate drow. the one that got wisely disabled in dota2 cm.
drow was picked every game and won every game and in the 6 games i saw, the team with drow just lost 1 tower.
short: the hero was freaking op and got nerfed back in line.
but yeah poseidon and 4fc picked drow, but both lost their games. (4fc played against navi though)
