As an example, just take every single AP solo mid in the game, how many of those have 4 nukes or 3 nukes and a shield. The necessity of having X total AP ratio and so on for other roles just kills the variety. The way Dota does things is much more interesting, just make whatever and let people figure out if it's useful and where it's useful, don't enforce a strict meta and if shit gets too crazy throw in some balance patches. | ||

I really enjoyed playing LoL but I have to agree I got bored of the exact same meta after a few months and the same power curve on every heroe. Also I could not play all heroes, I really love the fact I can play them all on dota. And items builds do not vary as much as in dota. LoL is still a great game imo, but it lacks something in variety. | ||

LoL is SUPER fun,there are even some champions that I wish I could just incorporate into dota 2(such as Jarvan and Udyr). One big thing that always bothered me is that Riot constantly fiddles around with the fucking game and can't leave it to evolve alone for a solid 2 months,it's incredibly annoying.They fucked up the jungle 2 times and than eventually reverted it back to what it kinda was the first time they reworked it,although I kinda didn't play for about 5-6 months now so I have no idea what's the sate of it now. The other thing is the sheer technical incompetence or lack of effort to make the game as stable as possible.They have 1 game to worry about,1,and they just refuse to remake the absolute atrocity that's supposed to be a game client for LoL. Not only that but they have huge server issues on EU West,back when I was playing the game was regularly unplayable at prime time between 7-10 pm.Server split did nothing and even made it worse. Oh and one more thing,did you guys know that the "biggest esport" to date STILL doesn't have a official replay system? yea...riot is pretty much a joke | ||

You can't deny. I think you can't even manipulate the creepwave to aggro on you. That's the laning. Nothing seems to have animations. Everything is instant. Spellcasts, turning around, attacking. Playing a champ feels like pushing a hockey puck around on ice. And the other thing, riot don't like for anything to feel powerful. You will never get the feeling of playing a bkb blink ursa. Can you ever jump into 5 full hp champions and kill 3?
