Icefrog has generally used stat parity across items to be inspiration for creating new items on some level. For example adding Aquila when only Bracer and Null Talisman had build paths, but Wraith Band didn't, or adding E-Blade when Mystic Staff and Reaver had 2 build paths each (Sheep, Shiva, Heart, Satanic), while Eaglehorn only had 1 (Butterfly; Mjollnir used to be an Eaglehorn item, but that got changed to be Hyperstone some time back). Another one he might fill eventually is making a double Mantle item, since 2xGauntlet makes Urn and 2xSlippers makes PMS, but 2xMantle doesn't build into anything yet. | ||
