:/ why would i lie about this. I'm a former competitive (amateur) NA player. Never was as good as the big teams but i don't think i scrubbed out of any tournaments except the first one i entered in CAL-O.
not that it really matters. Hitting first page isn't a MAJOR accomplishment. it just means you are one of the higher MMR average games at the time of your playing. It's not like i'm anywhere near good enough to go pro. don't think i ever was.

Play enough games and maintain that and you should be fine. the "MMR level" you self search by is an average of players in your game not your individual MMR.

I stopped caring about my posting on that forum a while back . everyone there is incredibly hostile for any view that isn't reinforcing whats done currently unless your name is yango so much so i just stopped playing the game, even with friends.

What you say is quite funny because people from that forums promoted lots of "new meta" stuff long before it became popular - like they kept talking about corki/anivia being very strong since the beta like 1-2 years before people actually started using them, same with jungling. It's just that people want theorycrafting to be wise, not silly, it's exactly the same on TL DOTA2 forum.
Instead of being butthurt you could like you know... Learn to proove what you say is makes sense by saying anything other than "because i said so".
