I generally end up with phase boots, bottle, drums, aghanim's scepter, hyperstone, yasha so that I can fight in the mid game and thus for values sake I turn hyperstone into an assault cuirass and turn the yasha into a manta style.
This basically leaves with me with:
- Boots (travel/phase/treads/whatever) - Aghanim's - Assault Cuirass - Manta Style
From there though I'm not entirely sure what item to go for next. I've dicked about filling the last 2 slots using:
- Daedalus (to simply blow the enemy team up) - Butterfly (surprisingly effective on this strength hero) - Satantic - Heart - MKB - BKB
Playing tiny without any meaningful health regen can be a pain in the ass late game, so I err towards having a satanic as the 6th item, which seems to be better than heart on tiny. My urge to simply blow people up always slides me towards building a Daedalus, but perhaps I should build butterfly.
If the game goes long enough I guess I could sell assault cuirass if someone else in the team can pick it up for another item.
Thoughts?
I'm not a tremendous fan of getting both an AC and a manta style, but that's left for another discussion. If i were you, I would typically follow this up with getting a BKB (tiny can get locked down by stuns), and then transitioning into Daedalus.
If I were building racecar, I would probably skip the AC, and save that slot for a later butterfly or Satanic.
Remember, everything is situational.

Mask of madness is good on tiny, and then a bkb

Wouldn't recommend it without getting more troll items.

Abyssal has to be one of them. I'd also get rid of Manta if its that late... unless you can't push T3 without illusions.
Well, when exactly do you suggest I build it?
Bashers pretty awful on tiny due to his attack speed so actually transitioning from a race car tiny into an abyssal blade is pretty difficult. I could build it as the 6th item I guess after a butterfly.

abyssal=bad manta=good plz guys

S&Y is situational as well.

If I skip the AC, do you suggest I still buy the hyper stone to compensate for tiny's awful attack speed, with the aim to simply sell it (or turn it into a mjollnir) or should I simply skip it, make do with the attack speed and rush out the bkb (situation warranting)?

Last time i had an ally playing tiny he made treads, mom, s&y without agha... yea we lost.

I'm not a huge fan of skipping AC personally, but if I were getting a yasha in my core items, I would get the Manta, and not an AC as well (I typically choose one or the other, as you need to address other areas of Tiny rather than both AC and manta).

Manta is actually a lot better than AC on Tiny, IMHO.

If your team has a second core that will get AC, Tiny should just get Manta, but the difference between Manta and AC for Tiny is not worth your team not having the AC aura at all if no one else will get it.

I always seem Tiny run with a lot of semi carries or heroes to count on their big-right-clicks. I would think AC would be better in general, since it helps boost those heroes that have likely topped out at that point in the game.

Well there are a lot of heroes you'd conceivably pick Tiny with that would rather have AC themselves rather than needing Tiny to buy it. Like if you have DK + Tiny, there's nothing wrong with having DK get the AC (unless he's really underfarmed, in which case you'd still want Tiny to get it because DK would finish it too late). But in a lot of cases, pubs buy some pretty stupid shit, and you don't want to have to rely on that pub to get it. Unless it's clear that he's getting the AC, it's better for you to buy it rather than your team not have one at all.
|
The problem I have with skipping AC on Tiny is that he has legitimate armor problem against carries that build BKB, and manta doesn't really deal with this, but the question is of timing (when the issue of right clicks becomes significant enough where AC makes a huge difference) versus when you will get an item that negates this (IE, butterfly).

Just start mana boots dagger in pubs plz , any tiny farming his agha after treads/phase, and drum/yasha is always a painful thing to see, in my team or the ennemy team, it makes the game an awful 5o4 until tiny's team just lose.

That's sort of a general thing in pubs where people see afk-farm heroes in competitive games and try to play the same way in pubs when that simply doesn't work given that 1) your supports aren't going to entirely revolve around you and baby you until you're farmed in a pub game, and 2) pub games snowball WAY harder than competitive games because 5 randoms can't play damage control well when they start losing, so you NEED to play something that has an impact early.
In a nutshell, it's why AM is a great competitive hero, but an awful pub hero.

Fuck that, I'm not running that outdated build. It's not even good compared to heroes like Centaur with blink .
Racecar tiny can just as easily farm heroes as well as creeps.
