I don't know if valve would allow it since it's their own character. But since I'm replaying HL2 for funsies and that pic of tinker without his head reminded me of it. Someone should make the body "Dog" from HL2! I mean, the voice is already Dr. Kleiner anyway!

Triggered heal interactions being different in DotA 2 makes LoA weaker.
Depending on how they change Frostmourne's interactions with orbs/other buff placers, that could also be stronger or weaker (e.g. if it stacks with OoV the way Veno's Poison Sting does now, Boots+OoV will be really good on him).

If it stacks with OoV/Skadi, it will be almost as good as Omni for the maximum slow build.

Well the way to play him already with random gold is to get Boots and just run at people at level 1 in lane, and now it'd be even better if you can get OoV too without worrying about Frostmourne stacking issues.

Yeah, but the real fun starts when you get Skadi, Sange, Basher and Shivas.

What no! Any hero carry ftw. Besides he's good as a semi-carry as a source of right click DPS for the team. There's no real chance people will aim him first because of his ult being annoying thus he's usually free to do whatever he want in a teamfight most of the time.
At least thats my experience in DOTA1

At least thats my experience in DOTA1 "No real chance people will aim him first" is actually a more valuable quality for a support than a carry, particularly a Strength carry. In large part a lot of Strength carries actually want to eat a round of spells for their back line. But being a support that everyone will ignore because you're too hard to kill is actually really valuable because supports are often the heroes that are killed first due to being easy to kill.

Yeah, no. Abbadon is not a good semicarrry. He can (semi)carry in pubs, but anyone can. He's really a one-spell hero, much like treant. He's all about that shield, early game for good harass/nuke, lategame for that debuff. The rest of his spells are really just filler.

What skill order is best for LoA (support)? Frostmorne seems like a one point wonder, but is shield maxed or coil maxed better? I'm leaning towards shield, because decreasing the cd to 6 secs makes it quite good at removing debuffs, and as a support you may not be level 10 (where it becomes moot) before you need to become a debuff bot.

idk i always liked the shield first but there could be cases for death coil
|
i wonder how shield would react along with living armor

time to add another champ to ixmikes pool

HOLY SHIT I JUST REALIZED THAT THE LOGO OF DOTA 2 IS ACTUALLY THE (MINI)MAP WITH THE LINE IN THE MIDDLE AS THE RIVER.
mind = blown.

All triggered heals actually stack this way in DotA 1, which is why changes to triggered heal interactions in DotA 2 is nerf to Abaddon (both Shield and Borrowed Time are triggered heals).
