linken's sphere blocks all targeted spells, and negates the damage/effects of some non-targeted spells (most of these are bugs) like Fissure/Burrowstrike (if they were aimed at the ground and wasn't clicked directly on your hero) | ||

They're pretty good depending on the enemy's team composition. The reason that you don't see them is that they're a) not core on anyone for the most part, b) less attractive than a Mekansm (because of it's heal) and c) a lot of pub players just build dumb, dumb items | ||

So I was watching Korok stream the other day, and he was playing with TC, hotbid, and Bumblebee(game was on like page 8 or something). And this Pudge queues onto their team. I immediately recognize the name because I played him on my smurf like a week earlier. Anyways, thought it was weird that a 23-19 player could queue into a page 8 game. | ||
