Prophets teleport is an infinitely stronger spell to steal.

But could you steal tether use it steal relocate and then tp away

Ah, you are right! Forgot about the Tether! Thought just about Telekinesis as sure "stun" instead of the Tether stun! And that would be really big! .... Still I would like to see a relocating Rubick :D

For it to be effective you'd have to allready have tether, your teammate nearby, you tethering your friend and the wisp pops up, you steal relocate and escape from what will be the most awkward gank ever

Does tether not end immediately if you steal another ability?
|
I'd think it lasts for the remainder of its effect, like say if you had stolen svens war cry, I assume it interacts as any other buff

Can't you relocate first, steal tether and tehter you ally during the relocate time?

I was thinking of Tether as a channeled ability, although in retrospect it isn't. Apparently it does work though because it was bug fixed awhile back.

Which means wisp needs to tether right next to you, which you steal, tether to an ally, then wisp needs to relocate, which you then need to steal. The circumstances would have to perfect, and then there would have to be an opening to pick off an enemy on top of that.

I'm not sure who you actually meant to quote, but the first steal never has to be just before the second one. You can have stolen tether minutes before. Noone is actually saying this is a viable strat, or easy to do, we're just thinking about the possible ways that it could work.

You could just hold tether from a previous engagement, so you only need to steal one spell. Not quite as hard as you're making it out to be.

Shadow Blade is an item that adds to your solo-killing/ganking ability by allowing you to move around the map invisible and suddenly engage on solo targets. It also allows you to split-push. Aghanim's is an item that's inefficient for solo-killing because its DPS stat gain is fairly weak, and it doesn't add to the damage-dealing ability of your ultimate, only the range and the CD (aspects that are useful in teamfights but useless for solo killing because you shouldn't take long enough in a gank/solo kill to get to the second Viper Strike, and you will engage at autoattack range with Lothar's anyway).
If the game requires that you have solo killing ability, you usually have to pair Lothar's with Orchid in order to kill targets with escape skills because you only have slows. Alternatively you can pair it with something like Manta which doesn't allow you to Silence targets, but improves your DPS, chasing power with higher MS, and adds to your split-pushing ability with illusions. If the game requires you have teamfighting ability, Aghanim's pairs better with other teamfighting items like Mek, Urn, or Drums than it does with Lothar's.

OD is probably the mid hero that has to choose between sending out clarities or flat out losing his lane if he gets unlucky with a couple of procs in a row. Rush tranquils on OD, never have problems with mana. At least I have never had problems with mana on him. But dunno, some people think I have pretty nice RNG luck Tranqs don't make it impossible to run out of mana, they just make it less likely. That's where clarities come in. =P I have played like ~20-30 matches of OD and never ran OOM :/ I think I can remember one game over a similar samplesize when it happened to me. But then there are those guys who cry all the time that they run out of mana.. Damn, it's good to be lucky, hi5!
Huh. I distinctly recall a couple weeks ago that I played an OD game where I went from full mana to 0, waited for regen/got mana-booted etc. in all casting around 25 spells (stopped counting after 20) before I got an aura (lvl 4) proc... That was a sad day indeed.
