they dont have more money than they did 2 years ago ?
they have about the same, but more of it is reserved for lol production only.
Do you have any source for that? Is that even how it works? It's not like dreamhack is paying for all the production, the individual sponsors do that, don't they?

Well, LoL kinda reached the point where prize pool is rather unimportant for the teams, so I guess they speant it in the bigger location and this http://www.dreamhack.se/splash/ .

I know that dreamhack has gotten less sponsorship money than past years (from various stuff like GD show, SOTG ect ect), but i know Riot increased their funding (as its a part of the riot run tournament). and riot doesn't let you spend riots money on other games.
When the DH guys showed up at the TI3 Western Qualifiers, they said this Summer was the first "BIG tournament we're gonna do ... and we're gonna do even BIGGER tournaments in Autumn ... watch this spot 2014". I was really hyped for this tournament and thought DH might have big plans for Dota 2, maybe even add it to the DH Open. But so far the only big things have been the prizepool and quality of teams, the actual show has been pretty poor. I can't really see them improving over the next 2 days other than getting lucky with amazing games. I guess we'll have to see what these bigger tournaments in the Autumn (not Winter?) will bring.

I think the finals and brackets will be significantly better as i think they are mainstage.

Ran in to this problem earlier today for the first time. Only thing that solved it was a reboot of the game. Hopefully there's better solutions to it around.

Well played sir! I did enjoy the Chinese commentary for DH, it's nice that he could voice some of the games.
When I try to open dota i get "scanning for steam games udpates" which makes sure i wont be back in time to game and I will always get low prio and game will be also ruined. Is this general feature that prevents you from reopning client after w7 randomly shuts down?

Not sure how i feel about this... at the same time it's cool because maybe eSports will be HUGE in the near future but at the same time i enjoy pretty much every current esports game more than LoL. I've heard the gateway game theory mirrion times but i really don't believe in it :/
