radiant had lycan ns veno puck and one more (i forgot) vs my team's od wr vs slardar bm teammate says we got outpicked right from the start  then i realise they cant use team chat for some reason so for most of the game we were playing with just pings lycan gets roshan and team wipes us several times OD calls ff like 4 times but i don't so we continue on slowly making comeback, then teamwipe goes for "final push" because vs needs to leave, push gets defended, vs leaves just when we thought it was over, radiant overextends and we somehow manage to reverse the score to have over 10 kills ahead wins the 60 minute match after thinking it was over many times feels good man lesson here: never ff so early :p edit: btw, was my drafting really bad? idk why my teammate said we were outpicked | ||

Also, unless you have first, you should try to avoid letting lycan trough seeing that any semi-competent player will abuse how good lycan is in the mid-game. | ||

i can't remember the bans but the picks were (iirc, starting from radiant): lycan -> wr bm (beastmaster, not broodmother) -> veno ns -> slardar -> AA (now i remember!) -> vs -> puck -> OD my bans were chen furion tide enigma and... one more but i cant remember On March 31 2012 01:01 Unleashing wrote: It wasn't bad, but without knowing what the last hero your enemy had was i can't really answer. WR + Beast+ Slardar + Venge + OD is good. Problem is the OD(not the hero itself, but the role that is supposed to go here) since the other team has a NS he will make mincemeat out of the squishy range semi carries along with Lycan. Other choices instead of OD could be POTM or Weaver, physical damage to go with Vs+Slardar and wouldn't be completely useless when silenced by NS like OD finds himself to be. Hell, a Razor to gimp the Lycan would be cool here too. | ||

i knew OD would face a lot of troubles from NS, that's why i had to choose VS primarily to shut down NS, follow up stuns by slardar, or initiated by me (or in any other order) i just felt that OD's imprisonment on either lycan or NS would be devastating to late game teamfights, plus his pure damage is just absolutely insane (OD made food out of the squishy heroes AA Veno and Puck lol). combined with my attack speed aura... yeah :p basically i was looking more towards late game with us doing the initiating (we lost most battles when we didn't initiate first) as for why i chose BM WR over veno WR, i knew NS and Lycan was gonna get bkbs, so i really needed that ultimate to shut down either of those 2 (ended up getting aghs too :p) | ||

Saying aghanim is a good source of extra burst for lina when dagon gives more burst for less cash. Edit: I don't think either item is good btw. But he was only talking about increasing her burst potential. | ||

Me and a friend ocassionally run vengeful + BS both getting force staff and dagon. It's quite hilarious, venge ult + BS ult + force staves is just too hilarious. | ||
