Icefrog has the reputation that he has because of what Dota used to be before he took over and what it is now. And because of how long it's been with Dota getting consistently better, and still have less complaints than pretty much every other game in the genre or in RTS as a whole. Shit takes time, and sometimes you have to see how the community works with what you make. If Pudge was introduced today, people would say he's completely broken because no one would be used to playing against hook and he can deny himself constantly. | ||

And holy crap that ulti was nerfed a lot. You can't do solo kill anymore during the early game. Even Mag base dmg deals more than RP level 1. Lolllll. And Lifestealer just became meh. I was SF mid and we wanted to gank huskar at mid Realize that Lifestealer lost his 600 range slow initiation. Lifestealer went wtf?????? People underestimate how big the range nerf affected on lifestealer. And Huskar isn't OP. | ||

People underestimate how big the range nerf affected on lifestealer. On the Lumi+Aui patch analysis they said that was pretty much the biggest nerf in the patch. I don't think people underestimate it, it's undeniably a big deal.It's well deserved though, you now have to actually kind of think about how to use Naix. | ||

I get it for Tree, who turns from really fun until the like 15 min mark to really boring really fast, but Necro is just a fun hero to play once in a while :O | ||

Necrolyte plays the same as he has for like 8 years. Sadist changed to regen instead of straight up mana. Nothing else has really changed with the hero. Tree used to just be a ward bitch. (which is the version I loved, but it was hardly an exciting hero) SK is now easier to play if anything. Having no skills doesn't make a hero easier. | ||
