I'm really not sure what to do about the new huskar.
I mean, ideally you'd get him low and have your team chain stuns on him while the carry rightclicks through the last of his health, but that requires a serious amount of coordination for a pub and also means you can't use those stuns on the rest of his team.
"The new drow" is probably not far wrong. He needs a ton of work from multiple players to bring down, while the husk player just a-clicks with his orb on. And even then, drow would actually die and then be useless if the team managed a few ganks. Husk seems terrifying in almost every situation.

:D or just get desolator on pugna and laugh at him ^_^ or omni/enchant or really anyone whos generally strong against 1 dimensional heroes.

Wouldn't ghost scepter amplify the damage of life break?

I find that he's an absolute terror before 25 minutes or so, starts to fall off by then and at 40 minutes or so he's absolutely useless. As Slardar with BKB treads and cuirass I could manfight him when he had armlet satanic urn treads and crystalis. I've found Slardar, TA, Void, and Spirit Breaker to do decently against him. Really, any early physical burst damage or physical disables. Now that I think about it, Bloodseeker might actually be pretty good against him since Rupture pierces BKB now and afaik Bloodrage should dispel Burning Spear stacks though I haven't actually checked. Burning Spears seems to be his main source of damage now, it's all about stacking that burn damage with massive IAS.

You use it post jump to prevent any further damage.

Why Aghs huskar?

WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T GHOST SCEPTER AND THEN JUMP ONTO PEOPLE.
The "makes you magic immune during the jump" obviously dispels ghost scepter. >_>

Why Aghs huskar? 4 second cooldown on his ultimate and increases % health damage to 65%. with his beserker blood he shouldn't be taking much if any damage from his own ulti, so as you get low you can Life break constantly for damage, and also the 50% slow lasts 5 seconds. the cooldown is 4 seconds. no one gets away from gap closer + perma slow for practically no cost.
In addition its on demand magic immunity that can be used to dodge stuns when low on life.

so burning spear is still garbage on huskar?

I see! Thanks. oh btw question for huskar, if we go Burning Spear it means no LifeLeech right? I am a fan of Life Leech on Huskar because of berserker's blood and his rejuvenation, makes him pretty impossible to kill.

Ok just checking because guy above said only 1 point in it. Guess I'll try treads/urns into aghs/armlet ??

I think you should go armlet before aghs if you're doing that build. You won't be level 16 by then if that's your first item and armlet is cheaper and makes a large difference in the early game.

Are you guys still talking about PA and builds?
Huskar apparently.. well thats new.

I think you should be going aghs before armlet if you are going for urn+medallion before either item. if you are going for armlet early then get armlet post boots pre aghs.
Once you hit level 11 you should be fine to use aghanims life break.

since the spear damage was buffed it actually does a decent amount of damage, but u dont really want to just set that to auto cast cuz u needa lifesteal too
|
how much does the new burning spear deal damage then? Its super annoying to play against huskar who uses it to harass in lane. T_T

On June 05 2013 16:28 Grettin wrote: how much does the new burning spread deal damage then? Its super annoying to play against huskar who uses it to harass in lane. T_T 5/10/15/20 per second per attack for 7 seconds. so 35/70/105/140 damage over time per attack/cast. its pretty good. but definitely not an every attack orb. use it like you use viper. except a bit more often.

i don't think lifesteal is worth it any more huskar's damage sux since he doesn't get damage any more it's 35/70/105/140
