Actually i disagree. There's a huge difference from normal to very high. Dont believe me? You can do a experiment to verify yourself. Just create a smurf and you shall see amazing things like Vlad's Offering Weavers.

I am now to a point where I question if MMR is even vertical... I have a friend who is placed higher than me (though both in very high). I get games of good quality most of the time, getting my pull warded and stuff. Whenever i play with him I get completely wtf games with dazzle jungle (legit), more or less the same skill level, just complete chaos.

There have been plenty of patches where even the tournament mode got bugged.

Well bought my compendium, decided to buy a treasure key with it so it would round up to 10 euro's. Broodmother taunt dance thing. First and last treasure chest ever

i hope the defense 4 learns from their mistakes of the last season.
they need less games and a bigger story / better production for each match. i hope though that they do not decrease the amount of teams and have more spots for qualifiers. (32 teams, 20 invites and 12 qualifiers would be perfect imo). the gsl system would fit best i think.
if they play the whole tournament in a few weeks (6 to 8) and can get a co caster for >90% of the matches and have a little bit of preproduction, i think the defense can make a name for themself again.

I'm looking forward to The Defense 4. Tobi already said that he wasn't happy with TD3 and that he wants the next season to be shorter, with less teams and a different format. I hope they can deliver a good one.
Btw, has there been any info on the new season of D2L? StarLadder, TPL and TD have at least hinted at a new season already, but nothing from D2L so far, afaik. I think the last season must've been a success for them, surely they will make another.
e: Aysee moved somewhere a couple days ago. That might have something to do with D2L, actually.

I'd prefer of one of the tournament/leagues extends their system to include a second league. Let's say TD would have 20 teams (4 groups of 5). They could have a Amateur TD of which all 4 semifinalists advance to the next Defense Season while the 4 teams who place last in their group would go down.
I guess this doesn't work because of stability reasons in teams etc but wouldn't it be cool to get a more stable scene in which up and coming players can show themselves while showing every pub player that it's possible to get known?
