You can enter the lowest league and climb your way all the way to the Star Series. At the end of each series, there are sort of "up and down" matches between the leagues.

Oh okay I missed that. Thank you! More power to Starladder!

Or did I just fantasized all of that?

Someone was asking in twitch chat and a streamer answered that he had already finished moving. As for if it's t/f I don't know. Can't remember the stream either but it'd be BTS or GD studio.

NASL if it's something from America, is my guess.
One can hope for MLG though.

Small patch that updated Compendium apparently. WTF volvo pls Did you expect something? New hero? Balance/hero changes? Some crucial bug fixes? I feel like unless its something small and that doesn't affect the game play, it's better to wait till next week when the TI3 qualifiers are done IMO. I expected hats, new hats, why does valve deny me some new hats? why are there no Dark Seer hats? cause his head keeps getting pointier and pointier, they would have to create a hat that fits shape shifting skulls. Or just a tall top hat. I think a hat like this would fit him very well:+ Show Spoiler +
Anywho, seems like we have a few more days of exciting dota news up ahead of us. NASL seems most likely. Won't really buy into MLG due to Riotism.

Hello guys! I'm considering to start playing dota2. Currently, I'm playing starcraft 2, but sometimes I find it too boring, and probably the reason is that it is 1vs1. I played many other videogames, especially fps (such as battlefield or quake), and I've always found team games to be more enjoyable. I also played LOL for 1 month, and even though I didn't really like the game due to its little strategic depth (at least up to 1 month of playing) I found it to be more enjoyable than SC2 is to me now. Simply, do you think I should give dota 2 a try? Will it be very much fun (except the beginning, when I red that it's quite suffocating)? Does it have more strategic depth than LOL?

Let me ask you, do you want to try out Dota2? If you do, then you should do it.
About the fun part of it. If you are playing alone, it really depends. Since it's a team game, your teammates might be the most obnoxious players to play with -- or the most pleasant, or something between that.

Well, you know our answer is going to be "yes".
But yeah - there is a lot of depth to Dota2 (compared to SC2) - there is more depth in how lanes can work, more depth in hero usage / roles, more depth in item choices (more dynamic items), etc etc.
The fact that you got through the rough start that is playing starcraft 2 online against other opponents, you'll probably be able to get your way through learning dota2 (though, its tough).

MLG should dip into Dota2 already......all I can think of is that Riot exclusivity contract as to why it hasn't happened yet.

It's impossible for us to tell if you will like dota2 or not. The only way for you to know it by downloading the game and trying it yourself.
