IIRC, the only difference between the two is that armor that isn't base armor isn't transferred to illusions
Edit (Also ET obviously)

If you're chat banned does that apply in custom games? Like if I want to play ixdl-o until it's gone would I able to communicate with peeps or no.

So how long till TC will be implemented in CM?
Because this guy will definitely be top pick like in Dota 1.

So this is a thing
"The Gamefy/Perfect World $135k Dota 2 tournament is BANNING armlet on Lone Druid DAYUM! Definitely agree this hero (and naix) are too strong"
|
Armlet is bugged on bear, its kinda legit to ban it
|
really another person qqing about naix and sylla being too strong holy shit
|
I don't agree with a ban like that actually. If armlet on bear seriously makes him too strong then teams should focus on banning him more.
|
Wtf is this shit, ban Sylla if you can't stand Armlet on bear. It worked this way in Dota1 too zzz.

I still dont get it why LD players dont just get 5 armlets + boots on the bear .... its THAT good for its price.
You get 40 dmg , +25 AS , +5 armor , +8 hp/s for just 2600 gold, Just stack 5 armlets and own
|
Noticed Jeyo playing Nightstalker on his stream with power treads and had a thought. I usually get phase boots on him but now I'm thinking it'd be pretty legitimate to get both treads and phase boots. There are only a handful of items that give +ms and tread switching is really good especially with a bottle.
Core build: bottle, wand, phase, treads, urn/medallion
You always need one pair of boots so the options are: drums + phase, drums + treads, or treads + phase. Normally I'd get drums instead of one of the boots. but phase boots give twice the damage of drums and more +ms with phase than drums + its active. Drums also give +14 AS (+24 w/ active) while treads always give +30 AS. This with how good tread switching is with bottle, double boots build on Nightstalker should be good.

drums benefits your team, and you'd be better off going bkb or armlet if you want to carry double boots isn't that bad on a lot of heroes, it's just that usually there are better choices
|
The problem is that Nightstalker doesn't really need to stack ms once you get enough ranks in his passive.. There are far more critical pickups that ~1400 gold could be going towards like Armlet, bkb, aghanims, etc. Having a ton of small, useful items like your core is nice but once people start finishing midgame items you start to fall way behind because you have to sell to free up slots.

On May 02 2013 14:13 FinestHour wrote: everytime mistmare goes jungle huskar he just wins it just blows my mind How does jungle huskar even work? edit - Also, yes, armlet spirit bear a bug that Valve hasn't addressed and seriously impacts the balance of the hero. I don't see anything wrong with banning the item (it's somewhat similar to banning people from getting quelling on PL when it was bugged). Though I do say they should probably ban it just on spirit bear... who cares if the druid himself is running around armlet toggling.

You have no slots left for anything important like a bkb, or hell, armlet. Also, you're trying to compare drums to both treads + phase. Try comparing it to one of the items while you already have + move speed accounted. It's not worth it.

Its a physical game bug. Armlet is NOT WORKING AS intended right now on bear. It is giving too many bonuses.
This has nothing to do with team perceiving a hero to be too strong, it is banning a practice that is essentially a BUG EXPLOIT.
