Which would actually be good call. But take the whole thing with grain of salt. As Tobi said in the tweet, "Easy to crack but little truth to it".

Slardar is fine he just needs a blink dagger, only thing I would want to buff slightly is the cast time on crush. If you aren't retarded or slowed it's pretty easy to dodge right now.

I would like to see a wider qualifiers, maybe only like 2 teams invited per region.

Slardar's cast point isn't even that bad. It's 0.36, with Crush having a radius of 350 range. Centaur's stomp is actually straight-up worse in this regard, since Centaur has a cast point of 0.5 and War Stomp has a radius of 315.

I gotta admit, this whole 80% armor reduction thing with Elder Titan's Natural Order (in a 275 AOE and is a passive ability, mind you) makes Slardar's ult look outclassed in comparison. Unless you really need the stealth detection, I don't see how massively reduced armor on one hero is better than massively reduced armor on multiple heroes, as well as their magic resist from natural order. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.
Unless ofc I'm mistaken regarding the superiority of % armor reduction versus flat armor reduction.

Unless ofc I'm mistaken regarding the superiority of % armor reduction versus flat armor reduction. elder titan only affects base armor, aka, an alch with 5 base armor and 15 bonus from an AC will only get -4 armor from Natural order, while a Slardar ult would still be -20
Flat reduction can also take armor negative, a rubick with 5 armor gets reduced to 1 by ET, but is at -15 by Slardar.

it's very easy to reach negative armor values with Slardar, so he is ussually better. TC would be better for heroes with absurd amounts of armor, like DK.

This is correct.
Also note that the two spells interact well together--that is, if someone is affected by both Amplify Damage AND Natural Order, Natural Order's % reduction will apply first, and then Amplify Damage's -armor will subtract from that.

Just had a game of AR where one team got kotl, PL and magnus and the other got medusa. (The other heroes were all so-so for pubbing)

ITS HAPPENING :D
I'm hype.

So in order for slardar to be a more relevant hero, we need to buff treant's base damage.

HYPE
:D
That time might be more convenient than originally planned. Or it might not be. We shall see.

"The runner-up in each Qualifier will compete in Seattle for the sixteenth and final spot the night before The International."
Now THAT is interesting. They must've enjoyed the match last year that allowed Mousesports to participate.

So yeah, 13 invites, 1 western qualified, 1 eastern qualify, and i guess the 2nd place from west & east fight for the final spot?
|
Thank god, the GD studio will be behind western qualifiers.

I like the choices for hosts of the qualifiers.
