What do you guys think about trying to make a Bloodseeker pick work? What would you run him as?
I'm asking this because I think he could be a great mid-late game supportish/utility hero because of the +120% damage on your carry. If you have a right click carry with stat items that doesn't mind being silenced (after using their crucial spells) like Lone Druid, Void, Furion, Lycan, Sven, or Skele, then he essentially gives them a double damage rune. You could even get creative and silence Brewmaster's fire panda (maybe? I dunno). For items, I wouldn't build him as a carry and leave that to heroes better suited for the role and help them out with bloodrage, and instead build ultility/support items like force staff, mek, drum, pipe, and heaven's halberd. You have some good solo kill potential on squishy supports with just force staff and ult. His passive is really good in teamfights because usually at least one enemy will drop to half hp and gives him some good mobility.
The biggest problem I see is trying to fit him into the laning stage. Personally, I don't really see him off-laning or trying to farm and carry it late game, and he's mediocre in mid as a melee with no creep-clearing nuke. Pretty much I would see him as either a jungler, or part of a dual roaming that can help smoke gank hard to kill mid heroes like qop, mag, and puck. He can't stun as a roamer, but if your mid has a stun like Nyx, and you bring another support like Venge, then you can get some really early ganks that they can't use escape spells to get out of because of the 6 second silence. Essentially a qop becomes as gankable as a Shadow Fiend in mid. However, he doesn't have a stun or nuke of his own, so he sucks in a trilane, and his jungle can be pretty slow and useless with not that good ganking or pushing abilities.

The main problem with him is his most useful spell is binary. If you have the damage increase on your carry that means you lose the offensive silence. So he's just a walking creep after that. That means he needs farm to actually become something more but how are you going to get him farm and how is he going to use the farm better than someone else.
Honestly I see no reason to try make him work. I look at magus and his 60%(It is 60 right?) increase with a cleave then look at BS and just weep.
EDIT: He's similar in this regard to tree but he's even worse off in that Tree at least has another decent spell. BS just has one good spell, you can't have a hero in your lineup that offers nothing outside of that one spell.

Also, idk if it has been fixed yet, but BKB is meant to dispel bloodrage :/ and for most carries BKB is a must lategame.

He kind of needs it.

Ah, thought it would stay on currently regardless of if it was cast on himself or not. The more you know!
But it's meant to be dispelled by BKB regardless of if it was cast on himself or someone else, right? Just making sure.

It's supposed to dispel regardless. Presumably it's meant to be a Bloodseeker buff.
If it didn't dispel even on other targets, it would be insane because the first rank would be a silence that ignores magic immunity on enemies. It probably wouldn't make him good, but it would be crushingly powerful against certain heroes that get destroyed by silences.

I'm still of the belief that BS doesn't need buffs, but a rework is in order to make him viable.

If they split his silence and damage then make the two passives one. I think he'd be alright. He'd be very close to a Nightstalker in that regard

doesnt help the fact thats hes still a melee, mediocre auto attacker that has zero stun and zero aoe and skillset is countered by a 135g item

Strong 1v1 laning means very little now when you have no way of surviving any smoke gank.

The whole "surviving a smoke gank" thing is getting old. No mid hero should survive a well executed smoke gank. Only time they do is when enemy team messes up or they play so safe that they give up control of lane anyway.

Compare the ability of a Magnus/QoP/Morphling/Storm/TA/X other typical mid hero to the ability of an SF/Bloodseeker at escaping a gank. It matters.

It matters but it isn't the only thing you need to judge by. Plus all those heroes except for QoP aren't good at escaping ganks(How can you count morphling when he's so bad right now). Storm is only good post 6 and any smoke gank will aim for pre-6 ganks. Even post 6 he's really squishy so he has to preemptively move or he'll sitll die. Magnus is the same is this regard but he's slightly better pre-6 and slightly worse post-6.
Sure they stronger than what you listed but they still die to the same ganks. It's just they recover and do more with less. Look i'm not saying it's not important. I'm just saying it's not the be all and end all.
