Distance from Warsaw, Poland to San Francisco: 9400km Speed of light: 299 792 458 m / s Time = 0,031s = 31ms Did this way too quickly, but it seems correct. I can't believe it's possible for your ping to be that low.

I'm aware there is usually a ~40 ping difference between what "-ping" in chat says and what net_graph/console says. "-ping" in chat is still an important tool for subtly implying that my misplays were not in fact my fault but were rather caused by inexplicable lag that I don't actually have (although I always ping 140+).

Lucky you. Guess which server i ping the best(15-25ms)? The answer isn't pleasant for Nordics.

I can't believe it's possible for your ping to be that low. Latency is there and back. So you have to double distance. It's really not possible what he's saying I think unless I've done something completely wrong. Not to mention you have to factor in it's not all straight lines and then other factors

E: According to dev forums the USW server is located in Seattle but it is pretty much the same distance I ping 16 to USE and I think ~90 to EUW. I live in New York

Or maybe the cables are actually self-contained vacuums Or he dug a straight line between his house and the server through the center of the earth to reduce the distance Or there is an explanation that actually makes sense If there is I'm definitely not one to provide it
