this is of course assuming DotA 2 has to continue competing against Nada's body.

Honestly, there is no scene in Korea so there is no ROI for them to consider it. As much as we wish Dota2 to be more global, and as enormous as it will be, it won't be in Korea's plans any time soon, LoL is their drug of choice right now. (actually i saw his steam account on HyHy friendlist while he stream). The point is, it doesnt matter if korean picking up LoL or dota2, they have never been good at it. DotA market is China > EU ~= SEA > rest... and im not seeing that changing anytime soon.,

Moba is Moba! I could see a hypothetical switch from LoL to Dota2. Or maybe that is just what I hope.

But for that to happen you need to be god damn evil and work at valve... the plan could be carried out approximately 2 years after the game is officially released.

I think in the end this whole thing is gonna end up being Pepsi vs. Coke. You choose one or the other, but both are quite popular.

No one gives a shit about a tournament for a game they don't play or have never played. LoL will always look better to a person who's only played LoL and when all their friends play LoL. LoL is getting a lot of attention in korea right now while dota gets literally 0. I foresee korea being primarily LoL based in the future bar the game itself completely dying (won't happen, stop dreaming). I think in the end this whole thing is gonna end up being Pepsi vs. Coke.
