Once LGD were constrained like that, iG started to exert more and more map control which permitted them to vastly outfarm LGD in the later stages of the game and produce utter inevitability.
TBH I'd call bat the MVP of game 4, simply because the threat he produced by being off the map was enough to limit LGD immensely. Don't forget Lone druid was the top farmer for basically forever until the very last minutes of the game, it was simply that nobody else was able to farm since they were all hanging out together.

Only thing she needs is levels, items are for only showing off. As soon as she hits level 6 and 11, she becomes a killing machine as long as her team has some disables and heroes that can fight in the frontline. All she has to do is stay in the back and right click. She can hit for 140-150 right click dmg just with a Shadowblade and PT. This is completely stupid. In fairness she does need SOME items. At the very least a shadowblade because she has no other escape and is really squishy. But yeah...pubs really just absolutely cannot shut her down properly and you have to KEEP doing it because if she gets ANY period of freefarm (and the Drow player isn't totally terrible) then you just die. I know that from first hand experience. In a game a month or so back I went from being abused by my team at 25 minutes after getting totally shut down by ganks on me in mid to carrying the team to a win after finding 15-20 minutes space to farm. Just insane. She doesn't need a shadowblade. You just get bkb/treads hit level 11 and win game. Also drow is really squishy and easy to shut down in mid, you shouldn't run her mid unless it's a very unique situaiton Any disable that goes through BKB and she's fucked at any point in the game because she has the survivability of an Eidolon. So if you disable people then do damage to people they die? Really come now. The whole point of an early bkb is that a lot of early game damage is magical. The tread and bkb give you hp. Then you group up(Maybe with a yasha if you doing well) and take towers/fights. You are a ranged carry so you don't have positioning problems that early that needs extra survivability to overcome. You have an amazing aura that scales of agi and an ulti that means you "peak relative strength" really early on so you can abuse those facts by grouping early with an item that solves most suvivability options in early fights(Bkb). Much the same way luna is played just a more physical damage approach It's like people think dota is a closed box void of anyone else Why not actually read what I said before being condescending? As I said, disables matter because she has next to no survivability. She's like a better version of Huskar. Good, but not anything special against decent play and certainly not OP, which is what the discussion is about. How is magic immunity not survivability? You said any disable through bkb wrecks her which is true for basically ever single hero in the game. I gave reasoning why it's a favourable situation for her and all you say is one liner yet I'm condescending? Maybe it's my being ill so I'm misreading but it seems to be the inverse. I also don't see how you compare a 625 ranged agi hero with an aura to a 400 ranged str that needs to be damaged to deal his real damage. Anyway I agree she's not OP but she is strong. Magic immunity which anyone can have, yes. But she's still one of the squishiest heroes in the game, has no escape or repositioning, and is straight up far easier to kill than pretty much any carry. Huskar is comparable because he's "OP!" until people focus on disabling him rather than just piss about doing random shit in a team fight. I get the feeling you never played against a good Drow.

Well, the problem with PL is that he's difficult to deal with in competitive games (finding the room / organization to gank him with 3 heroes and not be completely obvious about it, and to find the ability to push and end the game in 30 minutes in the current meta [most pl teams in competitive games have a kotl]), and its that much more difficult to do in a random pub game. I meant when matchmaking puts you in a game without telling you. i've been in menu NOT searching for a game and ended up with an abandon. nothing to do with PL. PL isn't a problem. PL did it.

Once again, I'm not saying she's bad. I'm saying she's not OP and the only reason people think she is is because people lack co-ordination. If she were available in tournaments I wouldn't be too surprised to see her picked but I'm pretty damn confident she wouldn't be first pick/ban material.

Unlikely, as they did their SC2 segment last week as well, despite Apollo and Adebesi already being away. I mean they still have Semmler, who knows his SC2 stuff. Also with IEM & Hotslaunch I doubt the sc2 segment will be cut down - I even think it will be fairly detailed. Also not sure how fast Apollo is arriving in Stockholm. There's also not that much to talk about Dota2 this week I feel like. Maybe the Perfect world / Gamefy League in China, but there's only so much they can talk about, because of the limited intel on it. G-League finals should be the other big thing to talk about, but that's it. I probably missed something I feel like.

Each of them 10-15 minutes and the DotA segment is already finished I feel like. "That's it" was more refering to the general amount of topics to talk about.

my prob with drow is that she's just a borderline boring carry to see being played. A good void will make use of well placed chrono's, a good am and morphling can make use of split pushing well and so on.
Icefrog has gone to the well multiple times concerning Drow (ulti changes from insta killing creeps, agi gain and now global ranged +).
She right clicks, AOE silences and can shoot frost arrows.

i fail to see how assassinate causes excitement. Unless its on a puck. Also its still bugged ? (invis while projectile is in the air doesnt doj)

35% of normal-bracket games contain a Drow. Its safe to say that the masses enjoy playing her (as much as the "elite" don't. She's down to like 10% in VHigh). Given the fact that normal MM makes up like 70% of the players, I think that may be a clue as to where all the rejoicing came from. I agree though, she is super boring.

I don't think every hero needs to be crazy insane with 4 active abilities, one with a sub-ability and stuff. Simple heroes are completely fine, it's variety.
