Might depend on skill level. mostly depends on people you play with. I Dont see drow must in higher ends anyways Drow has a significantly lower winrate in higher level games (according to DBR when it was around) because people are more cognizant of ways to beat her. Plus some people prefer fun games (although the amount of PL in my games makes me doubt this statement).
PL kill my games too.
People trilane him so he gets mega free farm, so annoying

The number of cancerlancers as you get higher up just gets insane. I think it's because noone wants to get pled so they just pick pl

Completely retarded damage lol. With the double damage rune you can kill some heroes with only 2-3 hits even early on. Drow is stupidly overpowered. Only thing she needs is levels, items are for only showing off. As soon as she hits level 6 and 11, she becomes a killing machine as long as her team has some disables and heroes that can fight in the frontline. All she has to do is stay in the back and right click. She can hit for 140-150 right click dmg just with a Shadowblade and PT. This is completely stupid. In fairness she does need SOME items. At the very least a shadowblade because she has no other escape and is really squishy. But yeah...pubs really just absolutely cannot shut her down properly and you have to KEEP doing it because if she gets ANY period of freefarm (and the Drow player isn't totally terrible) then you just die. I know that from first hand experience. In a game a month or so back I went from being abused by my team at 25 minutes after getting totally shut down by ganks on me in mid to carrying the team to a win after finding 15-20 minutes space to farm. Just insane. She doesn't need a shadowblade. You just get bkb/treads hit level 11 and win game. Also drow is really squishy and easy to shut down in mid, you shouldn't run her mid unless it's a very unique situaiton
Standard pub thinking at normal/high is to put Drow mid. So the choice is to put her mid and try to work with it or to leave mid empty and have your team yell for a quarter of an hour about not going mid and compete for farm. *shrug*
And eh...I guess I can see that but its a pub. Invisibility = invincibility. Except when I'm on the other team (other day as Crystal Maiden...other team had Nyx, BH and PL; bought wards all game and we got SO many kills out of it).

Any disable that goes through BKB and she's fucked at any point in the game because she has the survivability of an Eidolon.

So if you disable people then do damage to people they die? Really come now. The whole point of an early bkb is that a lot of early game damage is magical. The tread and bkb give you hp. Then you group up(Maybe with a yasha if you doing well) and take towers/fights. You are a ranged carry so you don't have positioning problems that early that needs extra survivability to overcome. You have an amazing aura that scales of agi and an ulti that means you "peak relative strength" really early on so you can abuse those facts by grouping early with an item that solves most suvivability options in early fights(Bkb). Much the same way luna is played just a more physical damage approach
It's like people think dota is a closed box void of anyone else

That doesn't really work when your team keeps feeding her and then she hits lvl 11.

Why not actually read what I said before being condescending? As I said, disables matter because she has next to no survivability.
She's like a better version of Huskar. Good, but not anything special against decent play and certainly not OP, which is what the discussion is about.

Drow is a single target carry with no mobility spell, no tanking skill, and she has little to compensate for it. Her global aura that worked on creeps was a good way to make up for this weakness, and it would've made her good in pro game, but the ridiculous pub whine made icefrog nerf her bigtime. I don't see her as OP at all now, like someone said she's the new Ursa.
Also, here's an interesting stats article on the hero usage depending on the skill bracet. Drow is the third (after riki and huskar) most hero that falls off in popularity the further up you go in skill bracket. She's used in 35.46% normal bracket games, but only in 12.36% in very high. @Numy: PL is actually used slightly less the higher you go (16.71% normal, 15.42% high, 14.21% very high) This is the complete list with all the heroes.

How is magic immunity not survivability? You said any disable through bkb wrecks her which is true for basically ever single hero in the game. I gave reasoning why it's a favourable situation for her and all you say is one liner yet I'm condescending? Maybe it's my being ill so I'm misreading but it seems to be the inverse. I also don't see how you compare a 625 ranged agi hero with an aura to a 400 ranged str that needs to be damaged to deal his real damage.
Anyway I agree she's not OP but she is strong.

People need to stop whining that heroes are OP. People also need to stop exaggerating about how easy heroes are to beat.

Honestly speaking, when it comes to pubs, it's not really individual heroes that make your life easy/hard, but teamcomps. It's super easy to win pubs if your teamcomp is good and the opponents' sucks even if your team is making a ton of mistakes. IMO this matters a lot more than the opponents picking an "OP" hero.

Anyone noticed that matchmaking is fucking up abit?

It's the behaviour that plagues every game out there. Stop focusing on imbalances (whether real or not) and focus on your own individual play. Personal skill will always triumph overall until you start playing at the very top, which is actually very few people.
Edit: same thing applies to complaints about matchmaking tbh.
