Russians/CIS are definitely atleast equal if not bigger then the rest of the Western scene, even taking into account people who watch v1lat I doubt it would be that big.(More people watch English then Korean casts too for Starcraft).
Remember, its the last Western bastion that holds against the superior moba. The numbers really aren't looking bad though in all honesty. For a market that is "dominated" by the other game, Dota's numbers are actually pretty good. 300k people online in game at the same time, and consistently good streamer numbers (admittedly only on a small number of streams though). It's a good start, though we'll see how it comes along this August. They are not bad at all, in terms of raw viewers numbers Dota often if not always surpasses SC2. The numbers are fine and I expect them to grow larger as the playerbase grows larger. Hopefully it will become large enough that it can't be ignored by larger organizations despite the money. I also have the utmost respect for Dreamhack because of this basically.

Man, servers are going crazy today. Mass dc's during my match, then match ended but still considered "Game in progress"
On a lighter side of things, I went 21/3/11 with silencer. Ended up with shivas, sheep stick, treads, rod of atos, tp and an additional mystic staff just because I can.

Oops, forgot about that haha. Since servers are messed up, I did not have my items up on screen (can't access the match). But yeah, I sold the tp to buy the mystic staff.

How do I get rid of the LoL stream under my calendar? I know this has come up before (the event isn't listed as dota), there's an option somewhere to change it but I can't remember where.

in sidebar settings under calender just uncheck the LoL box. wait im confused do you mean the calender section or stream section? if its the other one do what kipsate says :p

It's bizarre, if I filter the calendar to only show dota 2 events it doesnt show up but if i click on the 6th with my default preferences (everything non-dota 2 is disabled) it shows up there

What do you mean? LoL is not mentioned at all on my Teamliquid page. Does not show up on Calendar, On Air (events), or live streams. What other events are you referring to?
Edit: I hate valve sometimes. So had my awesome silencer match and because of the servers being lame, so match vanished. Did not count, replay is gone, le sad.

At least for me. If I hide streams it doesn't hide events and if you hide other game events it doesn't hide it.
Tried a couple of weeks ago and tried right now with that StarsWars event. Even if I check off all the calendar events it still shows the LoL ones.
I have a theory about why it would do this from a web development standpoint (as LoL might be entered as an official game which is why it isn't counted in 'other games' on streams but as it's own area), but if it's not everyone I don't know.
