You can't look at viewership against other games to see if a game is successful or not. The NFL gets more viewers than the NBA and the NBA gets more viewership than the MLB, and the MLB gets more viewership than the NHL. All of these sports continue to exist. The bottomline is what matters. If IEM SC2 can be sustained or turn a profit on ~40k viewers than it will continue to progress. If IEM SC2 is not sustainable at ~40k viewers it will dwindle away. It doesn't matter if LoL gets 100k or DOTA gets 70k, it matters if the numbers the game is achieveing warrant the cost/production to put the games out there.

I'm not saying HotS (SC2 in general) isn't profitable for IEM crms, it's just weird for me seeing a random online game having more viewership than a well produced offline tournament like IEM.

It is the group stages though, and on a weekday.

You could ban the patch hero or the Drow Ranger/Wisp of your choise. So essentially "All Ban" into All Pick, simple enough.

Sure you can. Each of the people on your team instantly picks a hero that you want to deny, waits for the opponents to pick theirs, then you all repick into whatever you really want to play.
