I don't want steam guard because i'm constantly switching between PC and Notebook and it's annoying -.- Ah well, if it helps me get rid of the DotA2 invite trash... It's a really annoying marketing move by Valve, i think it's even illegal by german law since you can't opt out. Anyways, won't take this thread any further off topic. You only have to validate each computer once with steam guard. The only problem is when they get backlogged and it takes ten minutes for them to send the email instead of instantly ^_^

So like BoTs > Hold shift > Laser > dagon > Blink > Rockets. It makes all of this happen stupidly quickly with no delay. iirc there is a phenomenal dota 1 frag video of some guy using shift queues to the extreme.

Shift requires you to be even faster. Sure, it is better, because the spells/items get cast faster, but it is in no way easier.

It's not about apm, it's about executing things in the order you want them to without tripping over your keyboard. What makes using shift strong is that you don't accidentally cancel TPs/Rearms. For the stuff where "apm" matters (e.g. March Soulring Bottle Rearm) it shouldn't make a big difference in the beginning whether you use shift or roll your face over the keyboard. Edit: Achieving super maximum speed with shift to e.g. Dagon Eblade one dude, Sheep the other and laser the third into march rockets blink rearm blink back in repeat is another story. That's not crucial for learning how 2 Tinker tho. =P PS: I'd also recommend laser/rocket builds over march. Laser on every cooldown, enjoy midlane!

I'd say that tinker is less about apm (you'll get a hang of near perfect APM after 20-30 games), and he is more about good positioning, decision making, map awareness, etc. It's not too hard to chain sheep + laser + rocket someone, its a little more difficult to keep someone sheeped, eulsed, blink away rearm, march on the right area, etc, but its more important to know where you should be when - when to split push, when to be participating in teamfights, when to defend etc. I also prefer march build over rocket / laser - though you can outright win midlane against some matchups with laser rocket. Edit: I pretty much always go soul ring blink sheep stick euls. The teamfight control is ridiculous.
