But then why dont they give us AR? This least win mode will even screw over the mmr more than AR mode. I am really really baffled by the decision of valve on this.

TBH, there should be different MMR levels on every mode.

They should really just implement ez mode.

Well I don't think different MMR for solo and stack should be different.
I do however think the match making should be on the same level. Meaning if you're solo queuing, you should be playing against 9 solo queuers as well or be the odd one out in a 4-stacked team, same goes for the other side. If you're in a 5-stack, play with either another 5-stack or a combination of 3-stack+ 2-stack.

Until the range goes to max most of time you only play stack vs stack when you stack as 5.

Different mmr levels for different gamemodes is silly and I don't see any reason for that.

That would be the best, 10 solo queuers but it would take too long to get a game during non-peak hours (unless there are billionsss of people play the game after released which is not entirely impossible, i hope ).

Ya when my solo queue mmr should be different from queuing with my higher/lower mmr friends.
And I said different mmr for different modes solely because i want AR so badly xD The biggest counter argument for having AR is the mode can screw over player's mmr.

And then one could argue that if you queue AR you dont give a shit about your mmr in the first place :p on another note cant connect to steam TT

10 solo queuers all the time would be impossible unless you disable queueing with 4 players, which would be terrible imo. It's not even a matter of time.
The issue with creating a separate MMR for groups is that you would have to start from scratch everytime you queue with a diferent composition. Giving that group default MMR would be really bad, would screw up matchmaking until you get to the correct MMR. They could use your solo queue MMR to create the group MMR and then only change that MMR if you are queuing as a party, but even then I'm not sure it would be much better.
Right now, when I queue with really bad friends, the games are very winnable as long as I play high impact heroes, it's the same old story. That's the issue, you are "forced" to do that. A separate MMR won't fix that. There will still be a very big diference between your team with the best player as CM and your team with the best player as Drow, and your games will still often be stomps. The only situation it would improve is if you want to always play low impact heroes with people far below your skill level, keeping your MMR lower than it could be. But that's not ussually the case, as you can see by the fact that most people that create smurfs end up raising their MMRs fairly quickly.

You can't see MMR since a looooong time.
Best you can do is play around with private lobby "balance teams" button to see who is higher amongst a group of friends.

Hey, do you guys of any good websites to find drafts of progames / proteams (besides dota academy). I want to find some draft of Na'Vi running lifestealer lately, and can't find a good site.
