Even if your MMR syncs, if your actual ability at the game is vastly different, it will still cause problems (particularly if one player's MMR starts to overstate his actual skill because he's getting carried by the better player).
It's less likely to be a big deal when its only 2 people. It's most apparent if you're playing 5 stacks where one or two players are vastly better than the others.
I'd say me and Teton are around the same level, we just play differnet positions, but sometimes my brain goes full retard and then it doesnt matter if it's dota 2 or BW, I am gonna fuck my own game / team up so badly
Or carry them on a good day, but I suppose that's the same with everyone
Edit: Random question - what is your skill build for a 5th slot (maybe 4th) Shadow shaman?
It highly depends on the game.
My versions: 'Standard' build: 2-0-2 at lvl4, 2-1-2-1 at lvl6 and then 4-1-4-2 at lvl11. Reason is simply because of your mana pool. 'Hardcore disabler' build when you have enough burst damage from your team in early game: 0-4-4-1. You can even put in 1/2 stats instead of hex. 'Dual supports lane and you are very far ahead' build: 4-4-1-1 at lvl10 because 2 arcane boots = constant farming oppo heroes.
The most difficult part on playing support rhasta is managing his survibility due to he is a high maintenance support.
Currently Mana shield appears bugged on the Test from what I can see, the animation gets stuck on the ''transition'' making for an incredibly flashy Mana shield which draws a lot of FPS and also causes an annoying sound
And for a Rhasta, Forked is still the way to max him first imo, because it also allows you to push very well and it is an incredibly powerfull nuke.
Can anyone link me that funny video where the puck phase shifts out of a gank only to get stunned by a chen centaur and then gets hit by a veno gale? Thanks.
Why would you skip all points in hex and get higher points in shackle? I don't understand the logic behind that at all. The longer disable is nice but it's channeled. Passing up a 3.5 second non-channeled stun for a 4.75 channeled stun seems a little baffling to me, especially if you're playing the role that is going to have a late/never get a bkb. Especially when the channeled stun lasts 2.5 seconds with one point while hex lasts 1.25 at level 1 and 3.5 at level 4. The mana cost on both disables goes up as they're leveled as well, it's not like the 200 mana hex at level 4 is impossible to use while the 185 mana for shackle would be usable.
Shackle is one of the best level one skills in the game, but hex just gets far more from additional points than shackle does. Hex is so much better for teamfights if your opponents are of the "i have stuns and can use them" variety (which is admittedly rare in pubs).
Passing up additional levels in hex for stats is just... don't.
I almost always see 1-1-1, 2-0-1 2-1-1 or some variant of that. Having two disables even with the extremely high mana cost is one of the main attractions of the hero as a role 5 support.
As pure role 5 support it's either ignoring your nuke entirely (if you don't need additional push or counterpush til later) and maxing disables or maxing nuke then maxing hex, then shackle. As role 5 support having your nuke is really actually almost always going to push your farm up to position four, especially with wards, if you use it for pushing or counter-pushing much.

Actually, if you look at it, there's a person infront of medusa stoned with an axe on one side and holding something that could easily be an axe in the other. I really think it's troll warlord being stoned infront of her.

Also, the hero on the bottom left seem to be Faceless Void. So maybe FV next hero?
