CPU: Intel Pentium G860 Mobo: Asrock B75 Pro3-M RAM: G.Skill-NT 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-1333 HDD: Seagate Barracuda 500GB (ST500DM002) GPU: 1GB AMD Radeon HD7770 PSU: Thermaltake 500W Litepower PSU That build will handle Dota 2 at 1920x1080 with high settings just fine. You might as well post this in the computer build thread or on reddit for more ideas though. At a glance, the 500GB hard drive could probably be upgraded to 1TB for only a few dollars more and an older model quad core like a Phenom II X4 might be better for cpu intensive games like Planetside 2 (though much more power hungry if you're paying for your own electricity).

Too many times I've had games where every time I try to gank the other team I see 2-3 TP's to the closest tower, but when they do that my clueless teammates are just standing in lane and miss last hits with no enemy heroes around.

![]() I've had an impression of Dendi as a positive, well mannered guy that trolls here and there for fun, but is not a dick overall. Anyway, was watching his stream the other day and while they were stomping, he was being a total ass to the opponents (think 1 of them told him he was a fan too). Spamming how ez they were etc. Is this normal for him? Edit: Reason I'm curious is because it's interesting how "stars" interact with others. For example. white-ra is great. I've been fortunate enough to talk to him on multiple occasions, and the reason I was fortunate is because it was great to learn that he is not putting up a persona, he is genuinely nice. I was kinda seeing Dendi as a potential, young, "white-ra" of dota2, so seeing him putting others down was a bit of a disappointment. Just interesting to see what the players in the scene are like

It's worst than usual. Just played in a game with 9 Russians. Where was I wrong? ;_; You queued EU? Russians are more hardcore on DotA so queuing at a crazy hour actually gives you a higher percentage of Russians. Should be queuing E-US. Play with with the casual Americans, instead. Might not be that much better. haha

When you queue and it takes +3 min, that is not a good sign. I remember one night, it was pretty late, and my queue took +5min (not in low pool). Once I saw the time for it, I realized that the players will be quite inconsistent with their skill level and to be unsurprise, that was the case.

Just interesting to see what the players in the scene are like I watch Dendi's stream on occasion, he's really nice most of the time. I've learned a lot from the way he approaches his (pub) teammates and such.. for example consider this situation: he and someone attack an opponent, he sets them up to finish the kill but they have a brain aneurysm and royally fuck up something very simple (pressing one button) and that gets them both killed instead. My old rage-y reaction would probably be to type "jesus christ wanna cast your fucking spell maybe?". But Dendi's reaction always tends to be him talking to himself (this is in russian mostly), saying something like "Right. I see what's going on here, he's not very good, I won't rely on him in a similar way in the future" and I'm striving to adopt that outlook. It's actually quite refreshing. But he trolls a lot, especially if he knows the opponents, which might come across as being an ass. Puppey on the other hand is really disappointing as a player/person so far.. I've watched him stream 2-3 times so far and each time he rages pretty badly. I'll watch a few more times to see if this is an on-going thing or if he just had a bad week.

Dendi is not as nice in pubs as you think, he softly flames his teammates and opponents all the time on russian. But he is nowhere near as harsh as Puppy.

I'm not saying Dendi's way of treating his teammates is ideal (e.g. in my example above, him calling his teammate bad is softly flaming I guess.. but he mumbles it to himself), but it's never over-the-top ragey I find. Well, almost never. Most of the time he's very nice. Hell, the ideal approach to dota would be superjoe on koreya's stream. That guy is awesome.

Its really funny to watch, especially Puppey, who just LETS LOOSE. Sometimes he can go on a flaming tirade for 10-15 minutes at a time, just targeting one player or one play.
