We are going for a hard carry, because in pubs you cant always rely on your team to end the game before their Void/Spectre or whatever gets farmed up. Having a carry that can go toe to toe with other hardcarries is pretty good.

By and large "harder" carries don't outscale a 1-2 major item advantage on a slightly softer carry that's stronger earlier (e.g. Jugg).

jugg can go toe to toe with other hardcarries yo at least as much as the other heroes that you mentionned

If the enemy carry still gets farmed and catches up to you on items, then yes they'll beat you.

In pubs its easy for a carry to get out of hand, you Never know What skill level your team or the opp is on, ive seen voids on killing sprees before the 5 minute mark .

Just recently explored another reason why a surrender feature would completely ruin the game.
My team is down 25+ kills. We lost most of our towers, they got rosh and our shadowfiend is absolutely terrible and our wisp fed like crazy early on. I'm 0-4 as Doombringer, not doing too hot either. They're highly outleveling us, it's 30 minutes, people were already giving up. I convince team to get one more teamfight in as I get my Radiance.
We destroy them. More specifically, I destroy them. I in a matter of 5 minutes manage to get my Heart. We kill them all again. I get AC. We keep doing it. In fact they had such a kill advantage on us, that even at the finish of the game they had 15 kills still above us but it didn't matter. I got so fucking riced out of nowhere and they couldn't respond.
God, I play DotA for games like this man.

I think I might have flavored up the story a bit with all the jitters I got right now with the 25+ kills , it was more like 15. As I look back over the replay they basically had a consistent 15 kill advantage the entire time. Throughout the comeback I was the only one positive for sure though. Wisp was like 1-7, Disruptor had at least 10 more deaths than kills, SF got a pretty good ult off actually in one of the major aegis teamfights. I thought I was over exaggerating about the 5 minute heart thing too, but man nope. 34:18 - 38:53. Damn man, dat ultrafarm. Only took another 5ish minutes to get my AC too. Now that I look back on it, my team did provide a lot more than I thought (except the 1-8 wisp and 3-15 disruptor at 41 minutes lolol), but even our 4-11 SF was popping big ults in fights.
Anyways, Match ID: 79923941

It was a nice mix of both. Both teams were absolute garbage
I just particularly loved it because the fact I went from 0-4 to 14-4 in a single life. Man that just feels amazing.

Haha yeah
I'm still shocked the SF had that much rice despite his score though. I mean he was so squishy, always getting picked off instantly in fights and doing basically nothing but fuck, he riced good somehow. But a lot of my gold came from dat midas + devour spam
Not gonna lie though, if there was a surrender feature I would have so hard. That fucking wisp kept pushing the lane despite a level 11 pudge ganking our level 6 and level 5 asses and she kept dying and I kept getting caught out and I was just getting pissed man. My steam friends I was raging to could attest to that lol. God bless that BH though and his track.

The enemy team is also just worse lategame, with 3 heroes that are significantly weaker than their counterparts in lategame teamfighting.
It's not unforseeable that they just needed one good fight to suddenly take control of the game at ~30 minutes.

If I were to look at this from a completely outside objective standpoint I'd agree. But man, it does feel good to suddenly take control of a game you're down 15 kills on, on a team that's been completely outclassing you all game and then just start tearing them to shreds when you personally was doing horrible.

Track gold is a carry itself on its own. It's that good.

How is it possible to have 59 Lasthits as brood in a 50 minute game?

I honestly dont know how many of the people on both of our teams manage to function in day to day activities, let alone play a game of DotA.

Even if you run hardlane brood vs trilane with sentries and getting killed infinity times early game, still seems pretty impossible, especially since they were winning.
