That's funny... I swear from what I've heard about LoL is that most things mirror each other there. Last I checked, "a lot of heroes that can teleport and kill you with one shot" in Dota can be counted on one hand. | ||

There will be situations where you can be solo killed when you are behind. There are threats that can initiate on you from longer than vision range. This is not "unfair", it emphasizes the greater importance of warding, better map awareness, and a sense of how strong heroes on the map are. | ||

Then your experience includes you playing poorly allowing your enemies to get a huge advantage over you. Most likely them buying up a blink dagger which is a decently ranged blink tool, and then utilizing the fact that they have a massive level and item advantage to just kill you. If you keep up in gold and experience, you wont be one-shot. It's like complaining that you are still on 1 base and your opponent is on 3 bases and then rolls over you with a 200/200 army while you only have a 50 supply army. I mean, yeah, he got an advantage over you, of course he's going to roll over you. | ||
