A few pages back there were some posts "Liquid´s playing in x minutes". Casually searching through DotA Liquipedia and other threads here I couldn´t quite find out what they played against whom and why. Was it just scrimming, or did they actually play an important match. And did they win? It was their debut in The Defense as liquid and yes they did win (and stomped quite hard I might add). They played Nex Impetus.

And did they win? First part - I'd like to think a bit of both? People who have different opinions voice them, people debate and come to a conclusion. Second part - there is a whole LR thread dedicated to Defense 3 which exploded when Liquid played. People are also still discussing them in their announcement thread.

I usually keep out of LR threads, because they´re quite literally spam and I prefer to watch the vids/vods/whatever. Was just busy when it would have been streamed live. I find it hilarious, that for 32 teams there were 8 footnotes. Applied to 9 times. Applied 10 times(one team has two). Makes reading the participant list actually a bit interesting. Group doesn´t seem too hard however to pass for TL, though. Mouse, Pulse and Virtus are the other big names, but I don´t remember any of the teams to be as consistent as the old coL, which is now Team Liquid. If it´s less than top 3, paint me surprised. Upper bracket would be preferable, but lower bracket would be more games to see them play. We´ll see.

My 8th win was with almost 6,000 hp pudge in a game where I was the only positive K/D for over 30 minutes. We lost all our non-base towers, and they had ALL of theirs but we came back and throned it after an hour.
