QoP is a better teamfighter because of all the aoe, Storm spirit is very good at ganking though because of the chase potential. Sure you can split push but if they are going 5 man dota and you don't have the same teamfightpotential as they do, but then you should counterpush anyway (this does not just apply to storm). Storm spirit is pretty weak when enemies are clumping up, so you just have to gank and pick off sole opponents when you can (or tell your team so sacrifice a tower to get one of their towers and go 1-1 in towers instead of losing a teamfight and losing the tower).

Storm is all about finding that opening. Early game you don't really have real "teamfights" there are more skirmishes eg. 2v2 or 3v2 etc. In these kind of fights it depends how you built storm and how you managed your mana. If you went for the 3 in pull then you want to use your long disable to setup kills for your allies and pick off targets. Zip in pull do some damage zip out. You do a lot of sustained damage but you also are very mobile so abuse that. It's all about knowing your limits of aggression so keep pushing them until you can't push anymore. Later on you should have your bkb and some kind of mana item if things are going well so you are an amazing initiator.

It's what people do when you always tell them to carry a TP scroll, they'll just eventually buy BoT's 'cause they don't have to listen to their team's 'advice'. Hmm...I wonder if we could turn this around? Start telling everyone on your team to buy BoT. Then they'll all buy TP scrolls?

I'm not worried about valve finance & I indeed meant treasure keys. It's just pure curiosity. And also a bit greedy as the success of this model compared to LoL's one can define the next gen of this genre.

Valve has absolutely immensive success in TF2 where most people who trade don't even play the game. DotA2 has a way higher player base, like immensively bigger. Valve said themselves if they knew how much money they'd make on making TF2 f2p they'd have had it f2p from the beginning.

New couriers, announcers and the likes will also be a constant source of money. And pennants(Once re-enabled) and tournament tickets will also be there.

Despite Valve's business model for TF2 and Dota 2 being insanely successful for them, I doubt any other company will be able to replicate the results Valve had to be sustainable.
