Jinro's gonna need to learn a couple of good 1base strategies, his weakness in the first few minutes of games is pretty well established. It's extremely helpful for all of us TeamLiquid fans that he's in such a macro-heavy group, he may get a chance to get into a couple of long pool games (pool play tends to turn confident players toward conservative strategies, could make macro play more likely). July v Rain will be hilarious. July has amazing ZvT, and Rain just isn't all that good (nearly got bounced out of code A last season). After that match, though, July has some work to do to prove he's capable against Protoss. If Huk can out 4gate InCa, I like his chances to get to Ro16. I might just skip Group B entirely, TvT is so predictably dull (especially when MKP isn't base-trading). It's testament to MC's bravado that he's followed through on his promise to work to eliminate his coach, but TheWind is certainly good enough to beat either Polt or SuperNoVa. With 3 oGs teammates and Polt, gotta like a pair of teammates to get through that group! With the incredible talent pool we've got in code A this season, I hope they've got some good casters lined up! | ||

Huk probably can't defeat July, and PvP is his worst match up and Inca is very very good at it. He'll probably defeat Rain though. I see Jinro defeating Clide, San is 50/50 in my eyes and Nestea doesn't seem so untoutchable as he once was. Have to say though, our foreigners might just lose in the groups stage. Code S is packed with talent. | ||
