i guess hydra made the competition for hite PL spots too fierce for hogil :\

i never really liked hogil's playstyle at all but i cant help but like the guy after him/leta/horang2 were basically the entire hite lineup after the match-fixing scandal. he did help make some fun games, but i still cant get rid of that horrible "turtle on 40 sunkens" zvp style that he did from my mind lol

Best of wishes to Hogil and future plans. He has contributed a great deal to the e-sports community by being a strong progamer, and hopefully he can continue to live a happy and productive life even with his progaming days behind him. It is disappointing to see progamers become frustrated and quit due to the intensity of e-sports, though it is better to live an enjoyable life instead of suffering through a frustrating one. Hope Hogil has success later in life.

Never a good thing when a player retires, but oh well, he was getting overshadowed by Hydra anyways, and the hite lineup is pretty crowded.

Good luck in the military. Best hope there aren't any Jaedong fans in there.

Although he wasn't a player with a huge list of accomplishments or achievements he was a great player in his own right. HoGiL's ZvP was pretty insane and II willl accredit HoGiL for Snow's advancement in PvZ.

It's sad to see a BW player leave, especially one with so much notability. He was a very sound player, and would sneak up on 'better' players with some frequency. I'll miss him.

I hope he finds satisfaction in whatever comes after the army.

I think his mechanics weren't good enough anymore. Whenever I saw him play he couldn't quite keep pace when it came to Multitasking and Microing. He had good game sense but that can't compensate for everything.
