Hes 3000 masters, no tournament experience are you serious? we will never see him play a streamed game. I would love to know the process behind that decision. Edit: Oh also, FXOBoss seems like a very smart, competent guy. Look to see FXO becoming a huge name in esports. I have a feeling that GOM has some kind of guideline that they invite at least one random top ladder player over to Korea than reserve all spots for more well known pro gamers.

Just seems like such a nice guy. Low pressure, modest bloke. Good representation of SEA!

Wasn't it said that they would seed players based on achievements? Oh well, they definitely got the talent, I'm looking forward to the next GSL. :-) Btw. is there a foreigner which managed to pass the qualification rounds?

Not surprising at all, at least for Ret being picked. Tell me what other foreign players are in Korea that have better achievements?

If you want a detailed explanation here it is. We feel that sc2 is going to be more global than brood war was. Because korea hasn't really taken off with sc2. As we have contacts and access to malaysia, we decided that this would be the best hub for a team of our company to be located. As its only a cheap 5 hr flight to korea if they play in GSL. A cheap flight to USA for MLG and a cheap flight to dreamhack. Thus giving us access to the world, rather than being stuck in one corner of the world having to skip planes every 10 seconds to get to an event. Malaysia is also terribly cheap, and our house will be 5 star compared to the houses in Korea. Logistically, we feel its a smart move. I hope this helps with your misinterpretation. Everything in this post is pretty thought out. Brilliant. Malaysia is awesome, and I agree wholeheartedly with what is going on here. Korea basically has GomTV spearheading every tournament. This is shocking, where are all the $50 Weekly Tournaments that NA/EU have? What about the $100-$400 showmatches, $500+ Monthly tournaments, etc? Why aren't we hearing about people like Sjow who are continously dominating and instead only have to rely on ladder/GSL achievements? Pretty sad times. Thanks Artosis for all the great work as always <3
