Anybody who lives there is so lucky - and not for the environment, the fact that you only have to pay for food, or anything like that. I can't believe they'll be sharing an apartment with the gigaballer GISADO! that guy is so awesome (to whoever asked about him earlier, he has very rudimentary english unless he's improved it a lot in recent months) | ||

As for the Code A/S stuff, there's going to be up to 4 foreigner invites straight into Code A. But any foreigner can play in the Open Tournament for Code A, and fill up one of the other spots (of which there will be 12). We don't know for sure, but it's possible if they don't have all 4 foreigner invite spots filled (like someone has to return home for some reason), they might move up the top foreigners placing or just let the open tournament fill the extra spots. We don't know. And I think the open tournament is Saturday? | ||

if you fail at the code A qualifiers, do you automatically get kicked out of the GOM house? or do you get to stay for the next code A qualifiers if you choose to or do u have to reapply again? if you make code S, do u have to move out? But back on topic. Good video! I was surprised at the separate room for Torch and stuff, so I have to assume that he has some fancy position now. Everything having a passcode was also interesting. I know you can buy locks like that in the US if you want, but I'm still somewhat fond of the whole key thing (seems more secure -- more likely for someone to guess a passcode than find/steal a key if you're conscious of it). | ||

Also qualifying for GSL 1 is not that much of an accomplishment considering the number of bad players who qualified back then. Plenty of great players failed to qualify, including Tester who is still highly regarded as one of the best Protoss in the world. Look at how much Jinro has improved since that exact same point in time and consider how much of a creative player TorcH was last time you saw him play. I'm excited to see what he's capable of since joining ST! | ||

For half of the questions in this thread, If you haven't been following all the GOM news posts, basically there are 4 seeded code A spots, and 8 house spots. getting accepted to the house doesn't mean your in code A as a lot of people are assuming. in fact it's entirely possible that the 4 seeds could look like this; ret, haypro, huk, anyone else. and then only one of the 8 house members would have a free pass. I'm 99% sure if you get to code S you don't get kicked out. It's just completely illogical. (Gom never even says this is the "code A" house, its always the GSL house or the foreigner house) If your non-korean your ladder score on the korean server doesn't matter, you can take part in the pre-lims. So to sum it up. 4 seeds, rest have to go through code A pre-lims, but don't have to have the korean high ladder score since they aren't korean. | ||
