I'm not sure how you can consider oGsZenio to be playing the best zvz in the world right now. While his match against IdrA was entertaining for both its creativity and uniqueness, it was a specially prepared sniping build for IdrA prepared by Spunky (as mentioned by Tasteless during game one of their Ro16 match). It might have thrown off IdrA as the one thing he relies upon heaviest to win (his macro) was severely thrown off in timing as using spawn larva is nullified by contaminate on a hatch.
If anyone single person deserves to be considered in best ZvZ in Korea or the world, that consideration goes to IMNestea for making Zenio seem lost, overwhelmed, out thought and outmatched during their Ro8 match. Zenio clearly was a grade below IMNestea's skill and decision making throughout both sets of their games. In fact, Zenio just looked downright bad at ZvZ during their matches. Sure, IMNestea won the whole tournament and didn't drop a set till the finals, but if his play is indicative of the potential of the match-up, Zenio's attempts/efforts to zvz look paltry in comparison to the next level of play IMNestea brought every single game.

I guess from the foreigner only Haypro and Jinro received good maps for their race. The other observations is that Tosses received good maps for the mathcups. Good luck to all. Go TL Guys.

not to say any player is easy or anything cause im sure they are all amazing sc2 players, but does it seem that slayers boxer bracket is easier by far than anyone else?
|
Damn... ret has Foxer in his group.... that is going to be epically difficult to advance but good luck to him anyways...
@above... yeah I think the Boxer bracket is the easiest too... or at least no big names... we don't know how people played in the qualifiers...

SlayersBoxer isn't great. He's average, RO32 material. Jinro might be able to take him.
Ret, ehhh, no comment. Aaah that must be why he got to Ro4 last season... placement were intentionally rigged so he got an easy group.
please don't state unproved speculation as facts. it irritates those like me, and it misinforms some who aren't familiar with the scene.

Boxer has Moon in his bracket. Could be epic. ><

This thread apparently shows all the math and proves that Idra has already secured S class. Didn't double-check it myself, but I'll trust their word :-)
I'm actually getting really excited to see all the TL guys and other foreigners play. I don't get on the whole foreigner-fanboy wagon a lot, but just having so many non-Koreans being there and qualifying is pretty amazing, and good for the scene overall. Will definitely be pulling for them next week.

Seeing as most of my favorite tosses are out, rooting for NEXGenius, Moon (Liberty) and the foreigners. Hoping for an awesome GSL.
Edit: Also noticed that WC3 RainBoW (LiberoPrime) is up against Genius in the first match. Dammit, wanted to see both of them do well.

Damn!! This will be epic
First: If Sen wins, He will have to play Nestea in the 2nd round, other good people include JooktoJung . Makaprime, NexGenius.
If Haypro wins he has to play Hopetorture AND THEN fruitdealer!! Talk about tough group. (Jos is in this group as well aka RET)... Oh yeah... Foxer and KyrixZenith is in this group as well.
Jinro is in Idra's group along with MVP, SlayersBoxer and CheckPrime... Looks like it will be really tough, but I am hoping for a foreigner AT LEAST ro4 :D

I'm calling the finals: Clide vs Ret

wow, sen's map don't look too good, but i think he can make it, as long as he goes for macro.

I watched moon practice at WEM after getting knocked to the lower bracket. He's a very very very determined player. I think he will make it to the ro32 no problems.

Anyone else notice how GSL seems to always match SlayersBoxer in a TvT... it being his best matchup.
