Q: This is your fourth straight OSL ticket.
A: Last season's performance was regrettably lacking. With this season, I have a fresh chance to redeem myself, so I'm ecstatic about that.
Q: You're going to play in the Wild Card.
A: I woke up really early in the morning but I had to wait all the way until the afternoon groups were done. I've eaten and rested a bit, and I'm basically just sitting here waiting.
Q: Do you not feel tired from your games?
A: At the start, when I was playing in the Ro4 in groups, my hands hadn't warmed up yet, so under those circumstances the games were difficult. Once I won the first game, the rest went much more smoothly.
Q: Goal for the OSL?
A: Of course, to become the champion. I need to raise my strength and improve my performance, so I hope this time I'll reach the top.
Q: Recently, your performance in SPL has been weak.
A: It's because I clammed up in my last few games. [T/N minor translator liberty taken here, what he actually says is his performance in the last few games has been nub] I've only played four games in SPL this season, but in the future I'll play over 50, so in those games I'll play better. A: The games went until very late, but I ended up advancing, so I'm even happier. I'll keep doing well in this OSL.
Q: You were eliminated from the MSL yesterday, but today it seems you made changes.
A: Once I saw the OSL brackets, I thought s2 was going to advance, but Center advanced instead. However, I have a solid grasp of ZvT and I had practiced sufficiently. It also seems that my opponent had a case of newbie nerves, so I was able to take the victory.
Q: In the Wild Card, you were eliminated in a teamkill by Frozen.
A: I wanted to be relaxed during the Wild Card matches. But it seems Frozen was even more comfortable (haha). These types of games are supposed to be even more relaxing than sleeping [T/N the Chinese translator has put "anyone" instead of "sleeping," but the pinyin is the same, so I'm unsure]
Q: Your goal for this OSL?
A: Reach the Ro16 and participate in the player selection ceremony. I saw my peers in the ceremony, but I have never before enjoyed it. This time, I want to participate too.
Q: You need to fix some holes in your play before you can achieve your goal, right?
A: Last season, my ZvP was very flimsy. This time, though, I've practiced very hard, so I'm confident I've improved. In terms of ZvP, if I can win, I feel like I can climb to even higher heights, so I'll work hard training my ZvP.

A: I've never been eliminated in the prelims. Right now I just want to quickly enter the Ro16 and the group selection ceremony.

A: None. They all went smoothly.

A: I didn't even know there was a Wild Card round. I hope today I can get 1st, so in the Ro36 I'll be able to play more relaxed.
Q: Your best performance in OSL is reaching Ro8 in the Korean Air OSL 1. What's your goal this OSL?
A: My goal is Ro4; I want to advance to the semis and get a seed.
Q: How's your condition?
A: It's been consistently good. I've been full of confidence before games and my practice is going well. I've rediscovered the feel from my peak.
Q: Anything else?
A: I'm the first to advance out of my team members. I hope the rest of my team can advance as well.

A: I'm very glad. Yesterday I was eliminated from the MSL. A lot of my peers consoled me for that, so I'm very grateful.
Q: You went undefeated against T to survive the prelims.
A: The games went even more smoothly than I expected.
Q: Yesterday, you didn't do too well.
A: MSL's maps were Fighting Spirit and Match Point. Neither of these maps is in SPL any more, so in practice playing on those maps was difficult. I think today I only advanced because the maps were the same as ones from SPL.
Q: Even though you've been to the OSL 5 times in a row now, you haven't gotten past the Ro16.
A: This time, no matter what I will reach the semifinals. I feel that I'm not weaker than other progamers, and there aren't so many who can consistently trump me. But I'm not trying to disregard everyone here.
Q: You have to prepare for the Wild Card too.
A: I'll work hard.

Q: Thoughts on advancing to the OSL for the 3rd time?
A: In yesterday's MSL, six members of our team advanced, which was the most ever. That motivated me to do well today, and I'm happy I advanced.
Q: Today, you escaped the prelims after fighting 4 TvZs.
A: In the first game, I slipped up, making the game difficult, but the rest were pretty easy.
Q: In your previous OSL runs, you were always eliminated in the Ro36.
A: After our team's merge, I've learned a lot from Puma and Leta. I think my strength has increased by leaps and bounds. Even though I haven't shown it in SPL, I think I'll be able to demonstrate my improvement in the individual leagues. My first goal is to reach the Ro16.
Q: You're playing in a Wild Card round after the games finish.
A: If I can get 1st, that would be good. If I can't, it doesn't matter much. One way or another I'm in the OST. If I can keep my condition up, I'm confident I will reach the Ro16.

Thoughts on advancing?
▲ I was really nervous. The games ended too quickly, I can't really believe it. Played ZvZ and ZvP, even used a 5pool in ZvZ.
- You've advanced to the OSL six seasons in a row
▲ I really want to win gold this season. The individual leagues *really* begin after the qualifiers.
- Your performance after reaching the OSL Ro4 has been disappointing
▲ I was pretty stupid. Although I produced good results with an aggressive style, I really needed to switch it up. I was too confident in my style. I hope to show my true skill like I did during my OSL run.
- You have to play Wildcard matches [T/N 卡外? not entirely sure]
▲ Wildcard players are a lot stronger than those in the qualifiers, and there are a lot of matches. It's a good way to evaluate your skill.
- Final thoughts?
▲ I was confident both yesterday and today. But my Dad told me that I was overconfident, and that cooled me down. That helped a lot.

Q: Were the prelims hard?
A: There weren't any particularly difficult games. The maps were ones that I regularly practice on, and there weren't any particularly Z-disadvantaged parts to those maps. In particular, the opponent in the finals was a Protoss, which helped me win more comfortably.
Q: Did your performance in the prelims yesterday help your regain confidence?
A: Because I played yesterday I thirsted more for today's games. Regarding confidence, I never lost it.

A: It's terrible, terrible damage. I want to quickly play in the OSL proper, so losing there isn't so great. In a moment, I'm going to go work hard and play in the Wild Card.
Q: How was your confidence today in the prelims?
A: I had a group of death. Both Light and oDin were in my group, so I knew that it would be tough.
Q: In the finals, you conquered Light.
A: In the openings, if I got an advantageous situation, getting the victory was easy. I guess my choice of openings was suitable.
Q: OSL goal?
A: Get to the Ro16 for the first time. Right now, I've never been to the Ro16 before.

▲ Unfortunately, I was eliminated yesterday. The OSL is all I have left, I would have been really disappointed if I had been eliminated from this too. Advancing today really cheered me up.
- This will be your sixth time in the OSL
▲ My performance has always been pretty bad in the OSL (haha). That said, my victories in the Proleague recently have really boosted my confidence, and I really hope to do well in this OSL.
- Was your last match with Hyvaa difficult?
▲ I figured that since Hyvaa advanced yesterday, he'd been in good condition. Losing the first set really took me down a bit, but I was lucky in the 2nd and 3rd sets... fortune smiled upon me (haha).
- Today the WeMade players did well

- It's been six seasons since your last OSL
▲ I didn't sign up for the MSL this time, only the OSL. I wanted to get an interview and say a lot, so I definitely had to win today. I'm glad I won today and got an interview.
- How were today's games?
▲ I expected a Terran, but they were all eliminated, which worried me a little bit, but no big deal. In the Ro4 I changed my personal style a bit and that made things easier. In the deciding PvZ match I was in a good position for most of it, but I made a mistake at a key point and almost lost it.
- Your goal for this season?
▲ Champion! Obviously, in order to achieve a large goal you have to start with small ones. First of all I wanted to advance today, then group selection, then Ro16, Ro8...
- There are Wildcards left too
▲ I didn't know about them until after the prelims. I'm not going to worry about them too much.
- Why did you want to be interviewed so much?
▲ I performed poorly in my game against Air Force and I may have disappointed my fans. I reflected on that, and I want to apologize. In the past, I'd see many players lose their essence once they became famous, and I really hated that. But lately, I realized that I've become that kind of player as well. I will work hard to find my original spirit, and cherish every chance I have to start. I want to thank the coaching team that has given me many chances, and the audience for supporting us.
