+ Show Spoiler + Fruitdealer played brilliantly and legitimately destroyed Boxer, it was less imbalance race-wise and more imbalance skill-wise IMO. Of course if he was joking around I'll just say "oh...you " and go about my business. | ||

In this whole Zerg vs Terran debates, I think Protoss are overlooked. If Tester has to QQ like Fruitdealer did, he should. Because Protoss has only been getting nerfs despite never being overpowered since release. It's ridiculous that so few Protoss could make it to top 8 last GSL, and it is very likely than none will make it to top 8 this GSL. If we need a famous person to say it, I hope some legendary protoss SC:BW switches, because this is ridiculous right now. | ||

I agree with what you say about Protoss and I have no doubt Protoss shouldn't have been nerfed. I am just arguing that these recent two patches' effect tend to be overexaggerated by the players who play the still-dominant race. To me, 1 ranged increased roach seems more of a change in ZvP than a ZvT. Yes, the supply before rax was a big deal cause it allowed Zergs to expand first, but its not that big of a deal if you factor in that Terrans STILL have versatility and can early expand as well. TLDR: There needs to be a more drastic patch to fix the balance issues of ZvT | ||

Great responses from both, and the interviewer also did a good job of not focusing too much on either Boxer or Fruitdealer. Sad that Fruitdealer hasn't gotten the prize money when the next GSL is already started. If it's a monthly tournament, GOM should be more on top of things, especially for such a high profile task. | ||
