19 year old white kid Gift of Gab is easily one of my favorite rappers because of his word play and flow. This being one of the prime examples Jay Rock is my favorite from Black Hippy Use to love the skill used in this song in the 90s | ||

Somehow Rakim's solo comeback songs always grabbed me more than his revolutionary stuff with Eric B. The lyricism is more developed, and he flows with it so sweetly it's almost decadent. | ||

Otherwise my current playlist mostly consists of Action Bronson, A$AP Rocky, Danny Brown and some compilations of jazzy hiphop from Digi-Crates records. Action Bronson - Steve Wynn The beat and his crass voice just meld perfectly. Awesome song, through and through. Action Bronson ft. RiFF RAFF - Bird on a Wire Perhaps the most ugly video of all time... But this beat is just so beautiful and both of the rappers really just rock on it. A$AP Rocky - Palace I might be harping about the beats, but god damn this beat is fucking majestic, matches the title of the song perfectly. Also, the rapping at 1:48 is insanely good. Danny Brown - Monopoly Awesome rapper, awesome lyrics. I love his flow and his rhymes are sick, solid. Digi-Crates are a small record company focusing on instrumental, jazzy hiphop. Their compilations usually only cost around 5 dollars and are really enjoyable. Plus this compilation even sponsors the FGC!
