(even though it's only an intro, it's fucking awesome) When it comes to chilling, however... I don't think anything can beat the allmighty Jazz Liberatorz. ... Unless it is DJ Krush.

It's interesting that emcees go out of their way to mention All day on the radio- sin without flinching Some have a penchant for dissention or perhaps some invention On how they fared at the latest player’s convention. Intention might as well be salvation prevention Soul food cooking up in hell’s kitchen- smell the stench and Then you got the neo-soul poetry slam pretention Quote-unquote “conscious” emcees speak on lynchings. In the next sentence brag about how they got the game clinched and Thug cats chronicle ghetto tension All of this is just the physical extension of the spiritual dimension But now we’re talking ‘bout redemption ‘Cause nothing’s more important than the state of your soul Not the way that you roll or the weight that you hold The “cake” that you sold will make you go straight to the hole Awaiting parole- now tell me who’s taking control We’re breaking the mold for real, not your typical youth Dropping Biblical truth with analytical proof It's simple. Who you give the credit and big ups, who you blab about all the time on the mic; your ego, or the one who made you? Hit me up for more {:

Also as a bonus here is a review, by Ghostface Killah, of the aforementioned rapper's (quite) new album that people should definitely check out if you like the song. Also just read his blog if you haven't discovered it yet, its the greatest thing ever, I had to stop reading it on the bus because I was laughing too much. http://bigghostnahmean.blogspot.com/2011/11/big-ghost-review-for-liveloveaap.html edit: Maybe don't if you're a fan of Drake for some weird reason.

Whenever that song plays I just burst out and do 60+ pushups nonstop. It's part of my workout music... On February 13 2012 11:59 itkovian wrote: My friend got me in to Lupe fiasco recently, and though i'm mostly a metal guy, I enjoy his stuff a lot. His lyrics are good, which makes a big difference for me since a lot of hip hop lyrics can be pretty bad. Hey man if you like Lupe Fiasco listen to this joint: This song gets me pumped up for working out as well. It's pretty fast paced. Lupe's lyrical flow is disgustingly sick good.

Definitely one of the most interesting of last summer. The cd cover is also made of velvet. Schoolboy Q (feat. ASAP Rocky) - Hands on the wheel This album is amazing. Crazy sample of Lissie's Kid Cudi cover, ScHoolboy Q and some ASAP as well. Hail Mary Mallon (Aesop Rock & Rob Sonic) - Smock My favourite album of 2011 hands down. One of the most interesting and well put-together rap album I've ever heard.

As something made by underground youtube artists, I actually think this is some of the best hip hop I've heard in recent whiles. Also, my absolute favourite rapper demonstrating technical mastery in great form. Rhymes, wordplay, ridiculous flow, and a great story to boot. TECH N9NE is the way to go.
