eraidor isn't top 3 in norway and hasn't been for a long time now
testie hasn't been the best player in canada for a while now, longer then 2008
rekrul does not rank in the usa scene
midian isn't the best uk player

Hovz and sadist were never to be ranked internationally, ever. Although to be fair they both raped me HARD esp sadist.

Fayth was underrated because he was a huge faggot, but he was good.

btw what ever happend to delicato, I fucking loved his zvt.

I wouldn't name testie as the best foreigner in any of the eras. There was always a few players who could dominate him in a series like Mondragon.Sen,Advokate and Draco to name a few.

Neither do I remember testie winning any tournaments with the best foreigners in it. There is one organized by puretorican which one I remember that he got into final against ret and didn't finish the series because of some unacceptable excuses given. The games that he took against koreans were pretty impressive but nothing special IMO.

Matchups like ZvP and PvT back then were much easier for non koreans to win against the koreans. Many like mondragon, pj , lx, draco and sen have done it. I really don't see a reasons why he was even close to being the best foreigner at any point.

Saying Fayth was underrated is pretty ironic imo because I remember back in days when all he did was DT rush in PvT LOL

He was the one saying how DT rush is unstoppable in PvT,wasn't him?

absolute best is arguable but to say he wasnt even close is pretty dumb.
id agree with sen, mondi is arguable, draco didnt surpass him until he went to korea and a2 was definitely not better than him, he did beat him like 4-3 in koth but that was during the rpoint map rotation where terran had to try pretty hard to lose.

Midian still is I'm afraid. I played him recently, when he was on his laptop and out of practice, and he still gave me tough games. Although I won our series 2-1 I have no doubt that with his proper setup and a days practice he could easily beat me. I guess I could say that I'm #1 UK (and indeed I do say this all the time :D) but that's only because Midian doesn't play right now.

Now, unlike the crew of shrieking fucking mongrels that seem to have infested this thread, I'm not gonna talk shit to you. However, the game has changed a lot since 2004, and the average skill level right now is significantly higher. Yes, Testie became a respected, skilled player. Yes, he really did have some interaction with pro teams, including a trial with POS that he didn't pass that happened probably very recently after you stopped playing, and an offer a few years later. He really was the best foreigner for like a year minimum, some people will say longer, but a year is pretty indisputable. Anyway, on a website that is dedicated to pro StarCraft you probably shouldn't come back after years of inactivity and talk with authority about strategy, because everyone here watches progamers play every night, and the game evolves.

NOW THEN, to the rest of you: Where the fuck do you people get off creating a SHITSTORM of a thread like this? Circlejerking quotes and screenshots, waiting for saddles to lose games so you can get your fucking jollies? This guy used to be a pretty good player, and he is DAMN SURE deserving of more respect than he is being given. I'm so very sorry that Saddles is out of the loop and more confident than he should be, but how exactly does that warrant such behavior from all of you?
