To those who have TheZerg or Nada... or some other 2-3 point player. These are the players that aren't expected to get points every week. If TheZerg or Nada get more than 10 points after the end of the round, they were more than worth the two points you spent on them, which means they only need a couple wins to be worth their cost.

There is a reason why they were only worth two points, because they didn't earn a lot of points the previous round. (TheZerg had no wins and two losses, he's technically doing better already this round than he was last round. Nada only played two games last round as well, so he shouldn't be expected to be in the lineup each week anyway.) You shouldn't expect these 2-3 point players to perform as well as a player worth significantly more points. I can offer trades for these players... but don't expect any wonderful deals for them because there weren't a lot of expectations point-wise from them to begin with based on the costs it took to put them on your team.

Stork. All those players are the number one players of their race on their teams and all of them are very good players besides (though a case could be made against BackHo for being a very good player).

I'm not saying it's a good idea to trade, but it isn't an easy decision. You can definitely make a case for making the trade.

So is there a general set of rules you are going to follow when making the trades? Such as no trades across race, 1 way trades only go from higher cost player to lower cost player, 2way trades have to be equal in cost, etc.

It seems right now there's a common theme of High cost low point total players being traded for lower relative cost players with higher point totals.

The high to low theme is just something for this week (though something that will also probably continue). In future weeks there will be more trade variance as time goes on there is more to evaluate each players' performances.

It will probably generally be higher cost player to lower cost player in the one way trades (especially the first week or two) but it's not an absolute rule that I'm going to follow and I expect there to be trades that deviate from this.

The two way trades by nature will be fairly equal though as I'd like to imagine players looking at both ways of the trade as possibilities. The only way to really ensure this is to make both players in the trade fairly equal.

Trades across race will be less common, but they will exist. They will be less common for the purpose that a team may only have one player of a given race and then would be unable to trade due to the race rule.

There will also likely be future one way trades that will have an option of two or more different players to choose one from on the right hand side of the trade.
