The Directv deal is for WOW Polar Bear Mount only, the card is different than the one from Blizzcon. So the only way to obtain a key now through the Blizzcon card.

In case you didn't know, I have helped out a fellow TL user just a while ago. I managed to get Machine[USA] a free BlizzCon ticket, no questions asked. What have YOU done for a fellow TL user? So how about you get off your "1000 post wannabe veteran TL user" pedestal and back the fuck off.
And in case you didn't know, WoW:WotLK beta keys sold for an average of $750 on eBay just a few months ago right during the time when the beta started. You can be damn sure that SC2's beta keys will be at least upwards of $500 around the start of the beta.
Edit: Also funny how you bring fastest into this to further try and put me down. You also swear like mbs/automine is a bad thing. Ask any TL user that actually played at BlizzCon or some other Blizzard event and I'm sure they'll see that mbs/automine doesn't ruin the game. I don't want to derail this thread into that direction, but just know that mbs/automine compensates for all the dozens to hundreds of micro tactics you have to worry about now.

not that i'm siding with rushz0rz in any way at all but micro is being automated just as much as macro now...

fuck man you pm'd me this and posted it here. i cant even copy and paste my response. basically it says this:
- i dont feel like a veteran or that im better than you - i called you a greedy fuck cuz you want $450 or $650 for a key when you got them for free (charging people for a ride or w/e) - mbs/automine comment had nothing to do with you, i dont know your stances or what you play
btw, mbs/automine will ruin the game. people who said that are just casuals or newbs, who have no regard for the esports and longevity of the game. they are taking away macro and micro, so now what do we do in battle, just sit there and watch all the pretty colours?

I can't help but find this quote ironic since I have yet to see a single TL user say that automine/MBS was fine after they played SC2. In fact, the response so far has been the exact opposite. Many people who played it only confirmed our fears, and there are even cases of people who once supported automation now oppose it after actually playing the game.

I PM'd you after posting because I realize it would be better to keep it to the PMs instead of clogging up the thread.

Any ideas on how much these damn keys will set me back? I don't want to be spending an upwards of $200 on a key.

Check out my blog, I made a post on how to get a beta key for cheap.
I got my two for free... actually less than free, I made a profit off of reselling the mounts on the cards.

I do not know wether it is incorrect in the sense that these features do in fact ruin the game, but it's incorrect in that many of them have complained about it.
Regardless, let's not start a flamewar here (goes for you and rushz0rs).
EDIT: I see you've decided to settle it via PM, that's good.

I wonder how reliable that is. I'm pretty sure it's too early for beta to open then.

I read alot of speculations about the possible price of the beta keys. People say that when the beta starts the price will go high. So i suppose its best to buy a key now before the registration ends or its better to wait abit more? I want to get a key but i dont have much to spend.

The keys will most likely rise in price on Ebay when the beta begins. They are already pretty expensive as is. But you also need to remember this won't be the only way to get a key, Blizzard will find another way to give out keys.

This guy probably sold the mounts seperately for $200-$300 already, and is going to make a hefty profit selling the beta keys for $225.
If you can, try to pick up a card with mount and beta key unscratched. Cards with both of the codes unscratched can go as low as $200-$250, with resell value for the mount code being in the same figures, $200 and even up to $300 (if you have good feedback and/or a trustworthy description).
If you have money to spare though, there's really no reason not to buy from this guy if he's legit. I applaud him for being the good business man he is
