it was pretty sweet.
Or that it was Rivalry Week.... lol fucking america.
man, Bendtner miss was fucking unbelieveable. The first one was sort of tough, he hit the post and is kind of unlucky because it was his left foot and he was clearly unprepared for it (he should be though) but the second one...... basically no comment, hit it straight at the keeper. The most amazing thing about the second miss was that he actually tried to place it, you can tell from the replay that he tried extremly hard to shoot the ball to that spot!! Might as well blast it, luck is probably more reliable than his skill.
good thing he doesn't start every game, or arsenal fans will be slitting their wrist and get a stroke while watching the games week in week out.
edit 1:totally forgot to say that Vela was class, maybe not that hard working in defence but he can be used very much like walcott. Just leave him up front and see if the opposition is willing to gamble. I was very impresed by Gibbs, he looks solid today and should be challenging for first team football.
edit 2: i must say, soccernet really amuse me sometimes, especially their blog/reports and all those crap you can get in that section. I remember that I read the article on the Leeds player who went to CL (maybe still available) and I cannot believe how bias it is. He looked mostly at all the players are aren't doing well, which I don't agree on all (especially smith and viduka) but how about have a look at like robinson/woodgate.
I don't know I think he's alright, I have not seen too much of him but I think he's gonna be decent. He's certainly not brilliant like Van Persie but he's still young.
He's very talented but dribbling and technique are only two of many skills needed to become a great footballer, he could be end up being a nobody, a Quaresma, or indeed, the next Zidane.
man the world cup would be a lot more interesting if FIFA enforced stricter rules about declaring nationality. France would lose many of their greatest players. England all of a sudden wouldn't look so shit.
That guy's alright but I think he's a bit short. He's got the skills but I'm not sure if he's ready for the premiership yet. I can't imagine him scoring many headed goals and he's probably not that fast over 40 meters.
