Actually... according to the papers, Silvestre only cost 700k. Obviously there is quite a bit in the wages but I can't imagine arsenal paying huge wage anyway, so maybe it is not a bad buy afterall. At least he can fill in position at the back when there are more injuried.
Arsenal loaned Traore out to Portsmouth so they'll need Silvestre to provide cover for left back, though i'm not sure he would be better than Traore anyways.
Also, AC Milan want to resign Shevchenko... what a mistake lol.
Its actually saying that Chelsea will have to make a bid of 102m to buy Kaka, though its doubtful chelsea will. They might as well buy cronaldo for that much lol.
edit: Doesn't Real still have Cassano? or did they sell him too?

It is a great deal for Arsenal, obviously I thought Wenger went mad but actually he has this all planned out. Silvestre can cover CB or LB which is great, so now Traore can go on loan to a EPL club that compete at europe. The chances are that Traore will be used a lot and gain good experience to develop himself good enough to start for arsenal instead of staying at arsenal hoping that Clichy (don't know how to spell) get some injury and play the odd carling cup game.

Shevchenko's career now is going to go downhill since his not playing at all in Chelsea.
/QUOTE]
His career went downhill went he first left Milan for Chelscum, as did Crespo and a ton more players.
Silvestre a "Fringe" player... are you kidding me? Arsenal going downhill? lol no, they keep getting better every year with this young squad, Arsene Wenger is probs the best manager in the Premiership.. Silvestre used to be played all the time at Man u atleast 2 seasons ago when he was amazing..
He is far from a "Fringe" player.
Every other League besides the Premiership is utterly boring to watch (My opinion and alot of others aswell)
Yeah this season is starting and no doubt it'll be a cracker..
well this Bundesliga season is going to be very exciting to watch for all Peruvians here. After all we have all of our best strikers in the top teams there ,except for Bayern of course. Farfan went to Schalke Guerrero on Hamburg Pizarro on loan for Werder Bremen
God, I'm really sorry for Brazil vs USA (female). I'm 20 times more sad with that loss than the one against Argentina. They really showed heart and will to win, but too bad they didn't it. I felt like Foreman vs Ali. Brazil was attacking all the time and USA pretty much only defending, their best chances started to happen after 85min mark.
And Marta, wtf, she plays so well, a real goddess of the sport.
On another note, I think Robinho is a big pile of shit. The guy shows no respect for the teams he plays for. Now he just says "I wanna leave Real Madrid". What the fuck you dumbass. In 2005 he just stopped playing for Santos FC (his first and former club) because they were not willing to sell him. Robinho said "if you don't sell me to R. Madrid I don't play", and he was like doing nothing for 1 or 2 months because of that, until Santos finally sold him.
Now he says he wants to go to Chelsea, that he wants to be the best player of the world (HA HA HA dream on) and that can't happen at the Madrid. I completely lost respect for him over the last 2 years. If I still have a bit of respect for him is because he show guts when he plays for BRazil.
Robinho is that kind of player that feeling good is outstanding but when in bad mood does horrible performances so my option will be sell him and with the money and a bit more find a remplacement. He won't play shit anyway if he stays, and so far he proved being skilled but not so much to be the best of the world as he wants to.
I hope we manage to get Silva(Valencia) or Capel(Sevilla) in if Robinho leaves.
UPDATE: After Robinho statement to the media about his desire to leave Real Madrid, Real Madrid has stated that they don't want an unhappy player and that they will find a solution soon. I guess Robinho is finally out.
fuck Robinho, dumbass! He is spitting at Madrid's face. Imo Madrid protected Robinho many times and waited for his promised talent for a long time already.
Dutch football magazine (Voetbal International) report that R. Madrid is preparing a 25 million euro offer on Huntelaar, the dutch striker from Ajax and that they want to close the deal within the following days.
And I hate players like Robinho (and C. Ronaldo, and all the others) that have no respect for their clubs nor the contracts that they sign and want to leave as soon as some other club offers them 20 euro more a month. It's not like they knew what they signed after all and let's also forget they are already earning ridiculous salaries (177.000 euro a week for Lampard).
Problem is, their aren't many players in the world that are as good as Robinho, and most of those are extremely hard to get. I think Real should just offer him a new contract or something to keep him happy.
